Sierra Veterinary Service is a treasure. We live out of state but had an emergency situation w our dog while visiting our family cabin at Huntington Lake. Honestly, I wish this were our regular veterinarian.

Five stars because they listened to our situation and needs, and fit our pet into a tight schedule, despite the fact that we are not their regular patients. I am certain we received the same quality of care as if we were.

Sally, the Veterinarian, is great with our dog. She spends plenty of time discussing how we can help to keep our dog healthy. Sally listens and we have implemented her recommendations, and our dog has never looked so healthy. We appreciate Sally and her friendly staff.

About six years ago, our dog lost the pigment in her nose. The two vets we'd seen since then just sort of shrugged and told us to try to keep her nose from getting sunburned. Sierra Veterinary is the first vet to finally try to treat the cause of the pigment loss, canine lupus. I'm very happy to have a possible treatment. They also cooperate with Chewy so getting prescriptions is super easy. The exam was super thorough and covered a lot of stuff. Priced fairly too, since they could charge more being the only vet up here. This will be our go-to for our two dogs from now on.
