My first visit was absolutely wonderful. I was worried my cat was coughing and also had a lump on his neck. They were able to fit me in same day and I was a new client so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Veterinarian, I’m sorry for forgetting. Her name was so awesome and calm and put me at ease, I didn’t feel like she was selling me on anything and I felt like she was my partner, deciding the best care for Felix. She ended up changing direction on treatment after a quick biopsy and I appreciate that she had the skill, knowledge and talent to figure out what needed to be done. So far so good as this was my first visit… I can’t imagine honestly going anywhere else after this experience

Staff at Redwood is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Most importantly, they are patient with me and my exuberant dog. They always explain everything thoroughly and give me all the options so that I can make an informed decision about my dogs care. Tux and I highly recommend this business.

I have been to Redwood Veterinary Hospital before and now needed to bring one of my cats to them for his annual checkup since my former veterinarian hospital has closed. As before I found Redwood to be friendly and efficient. The wait for the doctor was fairly quick and respectful of our time. The doctor and staff were efficient and gentle with my cat before, during and after his appointment. I highly recommend Redwood Veterinary Hospital for complete and accurate care of your pet.

Do not trust them. Everything seems good on the surface but because of their negligent i had to rush my little dog to the ER after months of bringing up her health concerns to them and now we have to continue treatment for ever. I would never recommend putting your pet's life's on their hand. I'm surprised by all the good reviews, again, they all might be for smaller issues resolved, easy to address, but even for my doctor i dont judge them base on how easily they deal with easy problems, but how truly they are at looking into more details, and RVH does not. I was fooled by the good reviews, hopefully this review will prevent somebody else to fall for it. SHAME on them!

My cat was attacked by a feral on August 25, 2024. I called first thing Monday morning. I was told they were booked for the next 4 days. I was told I could take my cat to Cordelia. In the meantime, my cat stopped eating and drinking, while I was trying to find another vet. I ended up at American Canyon Vet. where I again had to wait for an appointment due to closure on Sunday and Monday. By this time, the area where she was attacked (under the right ear) had become infected and blurst. She ended up having surgery with drains put in her neck...She suffered as did my husband and I. We thought our fur baby might die due to the failure to eat and drink. If you have a cat, your know how hard it can be to get them into a cat carrier to begin with, but to be told you have to wait because they are booked solid---come on. When did veterinarian help cease for emergencies? I am sure immediate treatment could have prevented the suffering of all involved. Routine care vs emergencies----hmmmm When it came time to remove the drains from our cat's neck, it was another struggle to get her into the cat carrier. We actually missed the first appointment. However, American Canyon Vet. Hospital said, if we could get her in by 4 p.m. that day, they would fit her in. Hmmmmm, they were booked solid too, but could and DID fit her in. I gave Redwood 2 stars as they were wonderful prior to Covid. What the heck changed? Hire more vets, apparently you are making money hand over fist, if you are so booked. When our pets are SUFFERING, they deserve immediate care.

Dr. S. Veltri is the best. She has taken care of my bulldog since he was a puppy. He is nine now, and Dr. Veltri continues to care for him with compassion, kindness, and knowledge. I feel like she hears my concerns and takes the time to discuss my dog’s needs with me. The vet techs are all really nice and I have had only good interactions with all of the staff at Redwood Veterinary Hospital.
