Montecito Animal Clinic in Pacheco is one of the best pet care clinics I have been to in and out of California. Dr. March is wonderful! All the technicians & receptionists are wonderfully professional and friendly. All of them seem to love dogs and cats. Have had my dog's teeth cleaned there twice and just had a surgery on her nose. All went well. They are very, very good. I highly recommend them. They have a vaccine clinic every Friday at 11:00 a.m., which is easy to drop in and get your pet's vaccines taken care of.

As a Life long Concord resident and past owner of over a dozen dogs I have tried most every Vet here. I have settled on Montecito Vet as the Best. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and fair. I will stay with them, and my dogs like the staff too. I've tried the rest and found the best.

DVM’s are gentle & knowledgeable & put your pet at ease before examinations. Vet & assistant stayed on the floor with my Rocky so that Rocky did not have to be afraid by being on an exam table. Rocky needs to be muzzled before interventions & they waited patiently & introduced the muzzle & placed it gently to help Rocky remain calm. I travel 20 miles vs a closer vet because their care is very good & prices are more reasonable than vets closer to where I live.

I probably would not and could not own animals without Montecito which over the 25 years and 5 dogs has produced multiple quotes depending on how far we want to take a treatment and we can at least keep our old ones comfortable. The 2 larger dogs lived to be 15. The 2 little ones are 8 and 14. First under the care of another local Vet with dollar signs in her eyes, the Lab died at 11 of cancer just weeks after treatment the price of a car--Montecito did not recommend.
