My family has used Mr. Scott's boarding services for five very different dogs over the course of the last twenty years, and they all loved staying here. It's so nerve-wracking to drop your dog off for boarding before a big trip, but every time I bring my dog here, I immediately feel at ease. She doesn't cower or pull on the lead when she gets out of the car and realizes where we are, and she enthusiastically walks up to the door and loves being greeted by Mr. Scott or any of his fantastic staff. The facilities are incredibly clean, and the prices can't be beat. You even get to pick out a toy for your dog to have in their crate during the duration of the trip, which is such a nice bonus. I've utilized Mr. Scott's resort for a simple overnight and up to a 10 day international trip, and the service and quality is unbeatable.

Regarding the service provided to your pets, cleanliness of the facility and professionalism of the owners. I definitely give this location five stars. The only reason I gave it only three stars is the surcharge for credit cards. It is actually illegal in the state of Illinois to charge so much. I’m maximum of one percent should only be charged for using credit cards. Use of checks and cash is very outdated.

Both Mr. Scott's Dog Resort and Mr. Scott's Dog Spa in North Aurora have been our go-to resources for our dogs over the past several years. Why? In this era of chain retail stores, this is a family-owned business with real people who care about their customers and who care about their dogs. My husband and I go out of town with no worries whatsoever knowing that our Miniature Schnauzer mix is in the best of care. I cannot recommend them to you more highly!

Highly recommend Mr. Scott’s place. Mr. Scott is wonderful to work with. He’s very attentive to our dogs needs. Patient is an under statement. I have two American bullies and I can’t even begin to say how well they are cared for while at Mr. Scott’s place. His facility is always so clean. Huge fenced in yard. He’s organized while checking in and checking out our babies. I can go away without having to worry about them. Very reasonable in his pricing as well. I will never go anywhere else. He’s simply the best!

Have been taking my dogs here for 7 years now. Always well taken care of. Very clean place, well maintained. Ran into an issue and was not able to pick up my dogs on time. Even though Mr. Scott was on vacation he took the time to reach out and arrange a later pick up! Very nice guy, I was a little frustrated with my car emergency but Scott helped with getting the pick up scheduled later and alls well that ends well! Hope he had a great vacation and look forward to booking again in September!

Mr. Scott’s Resort is the best place to take our dogs! Everyone is so friendly and you can tell they really love dogs. One of my pups struggles around other dogs but Mr. Scott’s does an excellent job keeping him separated from others but still active and getting him plenty of outdoor time. I could not recommend this amazing kennel any more - we trust them explicitly with our dogs every time we go out of town!

Scott and his family have taken loving care of our dogs for over two decades, both for boarding and grooming. When our first dog was at his end days, Scott requested to come visit him at our home to say goodbye. At the dog resort, we love the outdoor enclosed, individual dog runs. The dogs get to observe nature and run around. We have two dogs and they like being in adjacent runs so they have the comfort of each other but also the independence of their own spaces. The rates are reasonable and we very much appreciate the willingness of Scott and his staff to do what works best for our dogs!

Mr. Scott and team took excellent care of our dogs while we were away. They also did a fabulous job grooming them. We will only trust our dogs to them from now on!
