Absolutely a fantastic experience. I was referred here by a friend of mine. While I was weary to try a new place, Sandys did a wonderful job. My dog had some matting from not being able to get in at his old groomer. Letty was able to get the matting out and leave him with a large amount of hair left on his legs, etc. When I picked him up I was shocked, easily the best hair cut my dog has ever received. My dog was also so happy, he really seemed to feel comfortable there. The price was much better than any other place I have seen in the city. I will be recommending Sandys to everyone I know.

10/10! Lucy, my dog, was perfectly groomed and was so well taken care of! From drop off to pickup, it was smooth and easy! I appreciate the time they took to make sure they knew about Lucy and what we were looking for since it was her first time at Sandy’s. This will definitely be the place we take her from now on! Anna was her groomer and she was amazing!

As a longtime customer who had remained loyal even through the transition from Sydney’s Spectrum Grooming to Sandy’s Pet Grooming, I never imagined the relationship would end on such an unprofessional and disheartening note. My dog, Paquita, and I had been loyal clients for years, and in 2024, we were even recognized as their top customer. However, that recognition now feels hollow in light of the way we were treated.

The issue arose over a missed payment of $105, a balance that I was fully prepared to pay upon rescheduling an appointment for Paquita. As a medical professional who was hospitalized during the time this occurred, I was unable to address the balance promptly—but I was never contacted by phone or email to be informed of the issue. Instead of reaching out to resolve the matter amicably, the new business owner made the unilateral decision to terminate our relationship without notice.

What makes this especially egregious is the lack of communication. Had I been given the courtesy of a simple phone call or email, I would have immediately addressed the balance. Instead, I was blindsided by the decision, which was both unnecessary and deeply unprofessional.

Sandy’s Pet Grooming clearly lacks the empathy, professionalism, and basic courtesy that should be the foundation of any customer-focused business. Their handling of this situation was not only unfair but also disrespectful to a loyal customer who had consistently supported them over the years.

I would strongly caution anyone considering this business to think twice. If this is how they treat their top customers, one can only imagine how they handle everyday clients. A pet grooming business should foster trust, care, and respect for both pets and their owners. Unfortunately, Sandy’s Pet Grooming has shown that they are unwilling—or unable—to uphold these values.

Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for a grooming service that values loyalty and treats its clients with the respect they deserve.

Very terrible groomers and management that make excuses for a very poor job completed. I was quoted $75 by the groomer, then charged $90 for “mats” that did not exist. Anna was our groomer. We discussed that I wanted a round face and longer ears like my pup had in the 1st picture. The 2nd photo was how I picked up my pup and was nowhere near what I had asked for. I also told Anna that my dog was allergic to fragrance. She returned with a floral scent and itching like crazy to the point that I had to re-bathe her. When I contacted the manager, Jessalyn regarding my disappointment, she continued to make excuses, stating that Anna cut into my pup’s face so much trying to “remove tear stains.” Any experienced groomer would know that you cannot cut out staining. Even if she had this thought, she should have contacted me first to let me know prior. The manager agreed to this but nonetheless refused to accommodate. I would have continued going here and have just tried a different groomer. However this salon has zero accountability and will overcharge you for a terrible job completed so I will not be returning.

Hands down the best grooming experience we’ve had. Both of my golden retrievers were perfectly groomed, and they made sure my anxious girl received extra attention to help calm her nerves.

We are definitely bummed. Brought in our puppy mini golden doodle. The first time we didn't love the cut but decided to try again. The second time, we asked to keep his hair long rather than shaved down. He came out without a trim on body & brutal bowlcut over head. We asked them to fix it. Unfotunately, they shaved him down & gave him a cut opposite what we asked. He had a beautiful long soft apricot puppy coat. I was so sad his hair was completely shaved down when specifically asked to not. We said we did not want a poodle cut with the mustache and thick ears. Unfortunately he came with exactly that. So bummed all his puppy hair is gone & they did poodle cut! Will take months to grow back & want to tell others if you don't want the stanard shave, would try somewhere else!! We surely will!!
