Kennel Kamp is the best! I was so nervous to leave my baby at daycare but the younger girl and guy working there are SO nice to me and my dog. They are so accommodating with my busy work schedule and I am so grateful that they take such good care of my dog. Now I don’t have to worry about my dog while I’m at work.

The people at Kennel Kamp were courteous friendly and professional. The facility was clean and laid out to be pet friendly. Nothing but a great place to leave your four leg family members. Grade A Place.

My initial call to Kennel Camp Village I made a reservation for my 2 dogs for 2 nights / 3days. I also asked that my dogs be groomed. The person on the phone put me on hold to check availability with the groomer. She came back and confirmed that the groomer would see my dogs on Saturday. All was set and all I had to do was send my paperwork and shot records which I did.

The day before our trip KKV called saying there was a discrepancy about one of the shot's expiration dates and would we call them. Which we did immediately but was only given the option to leave a voicemail. We left a message to explane the shot verification, and asked for KKV to call us back. We wanted a call to make sure everything was set to go or did our dog need a shot BEFORE being dropped off for the weekend, but no such courtesy call came.

The time came for us to drop off our dogs, and the front desk person, Diane, said our reservation was for one night (not 2) and nothing in the reservation system showed grooming to be reserved, and that it could not happen because the groomer was fully booked. Diane added the missing night's stay. All Diane could say "I don't know why. It's not my fault. I 'm sorry" over and over....we gave her the benefit that mistakes happen, but this mantra was repeated throughout our entire experience with KKV.... until we picked up our dogs. I can accept an "I'm sorry" and I also want to hear how are you going to make the wrong, right? What are you going to do to make sure this doesn't happen again? Not happen to someone else?

The 2nd day of our trip - we received a call at 5:18pm (they close at 5:30) the voicemail said we had not picked up our dogs to call right away. Imagine our shock as we are hundreds of miles away and the care of our loved dogs is in question. I called before closing but no one answererd. Leaving a voicemail was the only option. I frantically explained the 2 -night stay and to please call back. I left my cell number and my husband's. No call came. No call...what the heck? KKV can call us but they can't return my call...2nd time.

When we get to KKV to pick up our dogs Diane starts her apology rant about mixing up the 2-night stay,, "for some reason the system showed one dog for one night and one dog for 2-nghts. I didn't know what to do so I called." Geeeezzzz she is the person that was suppose to correct the reservation goof on day one. I made mention that she never returned my call as I asked, and all I got was the "I'm sorry" mantra...to the point 'I'm sorry' no longer has any meaning. All I want to know is WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TO MAKE THIS RIGHT? How about speaking from your heart... discounting our fee, a coupon for grooming... anything to soften this nightmare!

Then Diane proceeds to check us out and don't ya know she quoted us the wrong amount. By this time my husband is so frustrated. We just wanted to pay, get our dogs and leave. Well Diane got indignant and snippy with him. After this screwed up experience and she is getting snotty with my man! Wow, what nerve.

Our dogs were brought out and each dog had wet pee on their back and around their neck - one is a Husky and the other is an American Cattle Dog or Heeler...they don't pee on their selves or one another....so gross.

The worst kennel experience EVER! If I could have given a ZERO Star, I would have.
