🚨 DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO Pet Supplies Plus in GURNEE!🚨

I took my Mini Aussie to the grooming services at Pet Supplies Plus in Gurnee, IL, and it turned into a nightmare. After picking her up, I noticed her eye was bloodshot red and swollen. Concerned, I rushed her to the vet, only to be told they were going to treat her injury under suspicion of strangulation and choking!

Instead of admitting their fault, the staff at Per Supplies Plus claimed my dog was aggressive, which has NEVER been the case. This was clearly an attempt to cover up their negligence. Anyone and everyone who has come in contact with my mini Aussie has said how sweat, calm , and friendly she is!

Our pets deserve better than this! Pet Supplies Plus needs to be held accountable for their lack of care, and I’m sharing this to prevent anyone else from going through the same ordeal.

Please help spread the word and share this post so no other pet gets hurt by this irresponsible grooming team! #ProtectOurPets

Absolutely love the grooming staff there! They have been grooming my Scottish Terriers for many years. Very friendly! They treat my dogs as if they are their dogs. My dog had a hard time in the beginning with being groomed, but with lots of love and treats she is a star there and enjoys going to see her favorite groomers! They take their time to know how to cut and care for your dog. They do a thorough examination and make sure your dog is healthy! I would recommend anyone to go get their pets groomed by the fantastic groomers!

I was able to score some great sales. The few employees I ran into were very nice. It was a real quick trip, but was able to find everything I needed for our dog's birthday! ☺️

Stopped in for a few things, kid behind the register seemed confused when the person in front of me paid in cash, but no biggie, my turn came, he rang my 3 items up, just a few broth pouches, and I inserted my card. He charged me for the person who just paid in cash that was in front of me.....$49.....I had $4 worth of items. I immediately jumped on my banking app and told him he charged me for the previous person, and showed him. He called his boss, who instructed him on how to charge it back to my card, which he did. The next day, the charge was put through AGAIN. I am literally having to go through the fraud department at my bank to try and get this resolved. It's ridiculous. Incompetence at its finest. Do better. I will never visit this location again, the Libertyville one is far more competent. Watch your charges, everyone.

Destiny in grooming is very friendly and good!!! The 2 Caucasian/white ladies that work in grooming are the rudest ignore 2 people ever. Zero customer service skills, they dont acknowledge your presence answer questions with a chip on their shoulders and 1 always has headphones in completely ignores you even though she clearly sees you. Keep up the great work Destiny!! Don't fall into the foot steps of the bitter ol bags

Asked for help with fish. I heard them call it in over the radio. Still waited over 20 minutes for help before I decided to leave empty handed (never got any help). I was the only customer in the store at the time too. So they weren’t busy.

Staff is friendly, store is well stocked.

They play Spanish Country Music and mariachi music thru the store speakers though. Very distracting. Be like playing Metal thru the speakers. I mean I love metal, but I know most people don’t.
