I had an issue with squirrels and raccoons in my attic. Varment Guard sent Adam, the Service Technician.

Adam, is very committed to removing all the pests and always has the time to explain everything being done to accomplish this. While I would have preferred not to have this issue, I am very happy to have gotten someone like Adam to rectify this annoying issue.

Very professional and courteous! We had some squirrels in the attic, and they may be cute when you see them in the part, but they are awful when in your house. Once we determined that "visitors" had taken up residence, we called Animal Control Specialists. They came out the same day, and setup some traps. To call them successful trappers is an understatement. They caught every squirrel and used some pretty simple, innovative methods to make sure we wouldn't have any other visitors setting up residence. It's always great to have vendors who are experts that know exactly what they're doing. No more late night scuffling and scratching. Couldn't be more pleased!

Brad it’s very rude. He keeps saying that I harassed him because he cannot answer my questions. He charged our HOA which supposedly signed the contract and gave him the ok to kill 11 squirrels that their traps caught in 5 days nothing about this company it’s humane they put traps outside the roof to solve an internal problem, therefore we paid to kill our neighborhood squirrels. HOA gave us updates that they humanely relocate the squirrels not kill them. They need to get their story straight. Please do not hire these monsters without getting all details

Update (11/2023) - this company was sold to a new owner and no longer provides services north of Wauconda.

We've had to use them twice over the years. The first time was to investigate noises in the attic. They found a pair of flying squirrels living there that they were able to trap and remove within a week. Afterwards they performed repairs to the entry point and it hasn't been a problem again. Other companies I called flat-out refused to enter an attic. The second time we used them was after hearing noises in our vents. The person who came did a thorough inspection and was able to identify the source of noise we'd been hearing. It was a pair of squirrels building a nest in our furnace vent. In the same day he was able to remove the nest and close off the entrance. On both visits the reps were very professional and explained simple things we can do to prevent future problems.

I called in the morning regarding an animal in our chimney. John came out that afternoon, and to our surprise, he found and removed a Wood Duck. He also put our chimney cap back on, so this won't happen again. He was prompt, pleasant and efficient. The Wood Duck was fine and flew away. I would definitely recommend!
