Seriously I cannot say enough good things about this place. I just relocated with my dog from Nashville (where she went to daycare that was sub-par) and had to find somewhere close to my work. Dogtopia was quick to schedule a meet-n-greet and Piper (my dog) started there the next week! The staff are so unbelievably kind and I really feel safe dropping my dog off there. I work long hours (12 hours) and so Piper is there literally the entire day & I've never had to worry if she's being taken care of. They are so quick at responding if I message or call during the day about something, and it's just overall a really well run place. The staff are what makes this place so amazing - I am so, so appreciative that they make me feel safe and reassured dropping my girl off with them for long hours. I cannot recommend this place enough!! <3 P.S they also do fun monthly events so I've included a picture of piper from their spring photos (I mean...could this be any cuter come on). 🙂

They shaved my dog without asking. So uneven. My dog is raw in some areas. She had to be on steroids because of the infection. I used to work here a few years back. Ever since they cleared the staff and got all new staff I heard nothing but bad stuff. My dog is unrecognizable. Literally. People think it’s a different dog. My mom specifically told the groomer not to trim her tail and what did she do? Literally shaved it to NOTHING! Plus, the type of dog she is isn’t supposed to be shaved. So unprofessional, you should know what dogs can’t be shaved if you’re a groomer. Not to mention know how to groom! Some areas have big patchy spots. 0/10.

Thank you Melissa Ramirez for grooming my girls and making them look so pretty! They smell amazing and I have to say I love how much love, attention and care you give to my girls when they are in your care. They love you and it is evident by the way molly gives you kisses while you are grooming her! I’m so blessed to have you as their groomer!! 🐾❤️🐾 Infact all the staff have always treated my girls with such care! Thank you

Staff provided detailed, informed daily schedule for our dog being boarded - they even washed the crate items our dog had an accident on the day he was picked up! Great service overall!

This is a long overdue review!

I called a different Dogtopia and they were not as friendly or postive. So I got lucky and Called this plce. Since its the same Chain but Family owned! So much better on the phone and in person. As any pet parent, you try to do the best for your furry family member. Called this place had Tony picked up the phone and was so welcoming and answered all my questions along with setting up my first visit. Which is requierd to make sure your furry family member may get accustomed to there new surroundings and the staff. Fast Forward to our first visit.

Driving into the parking lot is no problem, easy location and very new! It is located near Pete's Market and behind the daycare building. Going into the buliding was easy. I was greeted by Tony, Matt and an older gentalman who I forgot his name. (Sorry!) I filled out the paper work and bought along my pet's medical records. (rabies, boarding. make sure up to date). After that the staff took my dog in for him to smell and wonder the area's that he would be in. Tony asked if my dog was crate trained, this is a must since they do change out staff and the dogs do get nap time! I said he was as a puppy but very rarely but you are more then welcome to try it. They do a crate test first to see if your dog willing to go in and stay and not cause issues. After that he is able to play with the others and smell the area that he will be in. Tony, then showed me the grooming, the back area, where they prepare the food for the dogs. Food wise, they do feed your furry family member Blue Buffalo! which was a plus side for me. because my furry member has allergeies. After the walk through my furry member stayed for a couple of hours so I could get some errands done. Fast forward to the pick up. easy and my furry member loved it.

Fast forward a coupld months.

I had to work more and life got a little complicated. My furry memeber was staying for a week due to work scheduling. Dropped him off fine and everything but they did notice a couple days that my furry memeber was not eating and not playing with the others dogs. So I got a phone call from Matt and said hes a little worried he wasn't eating. They woud try hand feeding. That didn't go so well and he was getting colder. So they kept him upfront with the staff. We then picked him up and headed our way to the VETERINARY SPECIALTY CENTER in BUFFALO GROVE. I Wont go into detail as to what happend there but I really do appericate what DOGTOPIA has done. They do go above and beyond to make sure you and your pet are very well taken care of. Will be visting you guys soon and I hope you have a lovely day. :]

We don’t really trust a lot of people with our fur babies. Dogtopia is different. Eli is an 80lb purebred Samoyed. He is high energy and smart as a whip. Hazel is our most recent addition, a Kelpie/husk mix. You can see why we love Dogtopia so much. High energy dogs need more play than we can give them in a day. Hazel will be a service dog eventually but she still needs that socialization. They are kind, accommodating. and best yet they love our babies.

Update: they have a (new?) groomer named Alysha who did a great job on Eli our Samoyed, any of you double coat dog moms know they cannot be shaved at any cost (it can damage the skin as it doesn't protect from the sun, doesn't allow for cool air flow ect.) Congrats Dogtopia for being the GROOMER we trust to care for our boy as well as our daycare frans.

We love how the staff treats our dog - the space is also very nice and an added perk that one of the rooms has indoor/outdoor access. Very happy with everything at the Oakbrook Dogtopia

Amazing customer service and care for your pups! We brought our lab mix Luna here while in between living in the city and moving to TX and she absolutely loved it. Everyone there is incredibly sweet and you can tell really thinks about the well-being of your dog. I love the webcams, the ability to do daycare/grooming all at one place (and they do a great job), and the cute events they do. When it was Luna’s last day they out together the cutest going away gift which just goes above and beyond. Would highly recommend! We didn’t do overnights but I’m sure that would have been great too.
