First experience was not so good, our Baby Greyson died in my arms while running for emergency care. Staff was very helpful and compassionate. Gave use time to be with our baby and compose ourselves. Our second visit was great! The staff was helpful and prompt. The Veterinarian, "Chad" was professional, answered all our questions. Cost of services was very reasonable. Today, my parents had to put down our dog at Elizabethtown Animal Hospital, and it was one of the hardest days of our lives. The doctor was kind and compassionate, understanding how much our pet meant to us. She even told my parents that they could leave and take care of the payment the next day so they could have time to grieve and mourn their loss without added stress.

However, the kindness ended there. Less than 20 minutes after our dog was put down, a woman named Pam from billing called. Her tone was harsh and completely lacked any empathy. She bluntly stated, “apparently you put down a dog today,” which felt extremely insensitive given the circumstances. To make matters worse, she called again right before the hospital closed, insisting on immediate payment despite the doctor’s clear instructions that it could be handled later.

Pam’s behavior made an already heartbreaking day even more unbearable. It’s shocking that a place that cares for pets would allow someone to treat grieving pet owners with such disregard. I hope Elizabethtown Animal Hospital seriously rethinks their payment procedures and staff training, so that no other family has to go through this painful experience.

They took my puppy Weezy in even though they were about to close. I hadn’t had a dog there for awhile since they all passed away years ago but it’s the first place I thought of when my baby was sick. They genuinely care for animals. Thank you so much Libby, Dr. Nall, and the nice lady at checkout (with the cute husky).

First time ever coming here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was incredibly sweet and our fur babies were taking wonderful care of, WITHOUT having to sell an organ on the black market to pay for lol. Highly recommend

Very professional and helpful people. The vets were respectful and very comforting when we had to put down our family dog. They made sure to explain how our dog would be handled and showed she was going to handled respectfully. We are very thankful for them.
