Today I went with my cat who was having some issues and he received 3 injections for an upper respiratory infection. My bill was $200!!!!! I have NEVER paid anything like that for something as simple as a URI. That is the most I have paid for a visit and I have 5 cats who have had several issues. They clearly raised their prices double if not triple in what seems like overnight. I feel like I should've at least been given a quote for the services if they raised their prices that much. Dr Fehr was AMAZING per usual, but Melanie wasn't there today and Wendy who was at the front desk was not personable at all and didn't seem knowledgeable. I had been going to El Paso Vet for months and had always LOVED my experiences there. The prices had always been extremely reasonable and everyone has been so friendly and personable. Today was different. I have a lot of reservations on going back and am definitely going to be looking into a new vet. Very sad to raise prices that much without warning clients. There will be a lot of people who will be blindsided by their bills at the end of their visit.

The new veterinarians, Dr. Fehr and Dr. Huschen, are amazing! They spend as much time with you as you need. I have never felt rushed. They really care for the pets they are treating as well as the pet parents. I have a 13 year old Morkie who recently started having health issues. They have been very understanding of my concerns, reassuring me while also being open and honest. I have experienced a few different vets during my many years as a dog mom, and these 2 are at the top of my list!!

Under the new management all reviews left prior to 2 years ago are no longer accurate. This is not a reputable business they do not care about your pets. They only care about money. ANY QUOTED PRICE IS A LIE!!! The actual price will be 2 to 3 times the amount. DON'T BRING YOUR PET OR MONEY HERE!

The entire office staff is friendly. They truly care about the animals. The doctors have been very gentle with my dogs. The vets I’ve worked with were informative, knowledgeable, and compassionate when I’ve needed them at very difficult times. I will always take my furry family members here.

I had given them 5 stars prior to today .they quoted us a certain price and when we went to pick up r pet the price was a hundred and some more then the quote.i wish Melanie was still there she was the sweetest.they sure have changed and not for the better sorry to say

Doc is abrasive and seems to not have a desire to set animals at ease when in his office. He was also rude to me I suspect because he doesn’t like or is afraid of my dog.

Melanie in the other hand is super. Helpful, friendly, accommodating. She takes and returns my calls and really seems to care about pets and their owners.

Despite Melanie’s wonderful demeanor and caring personality, I won’t be back. I’d rather drive across the state to get someone who actually cares about my dog, than up the street and leave feeling like I’m the worst dog mom to an awful dog. This is the 3rd bad-dog experience we’ve had here. So I guess it’s beyond time to make this decision.

I have only visited one time for a check up and rabies vaccine. This vet is a graduate of Iowa State Vet School. He is well trained. I found him very caring and gentle...he is all about the pet...not as caring or gentle with pet parents. He has lots of Chicago area pet experience, so despite his rural Iowa background his time in the city and his bedside manner might make you stop and think. Take the time to speak with him...your first impression might not be your last impression. No complaints. Excellent service and care of my Pixie. I live here locally, drive by often and he has many customers.
