Incredible customer service from Nina, the pharmacist at CE Harrod. She went out of her way to help me and I am extremely grateful. I was looking for a particular brand of medicine as others don’t agree with me and she was very kind and empathetic. I would highly recommend this pharmacy and Nina. She will look after you.

Always a reliable place, I was just served by one of the best pharmacists I have met, the knowledgeable and caring Nina who went out of her way to help me with my multiple enquiries. I had an absolutely devastating experience with C E Harrod, today. I am 37 weeks pregnant and suffer from asthma. Today I ran out of my inhaler and in the heat I was desperate for it as it helps me avoid getting shortness of breath. I ran to C E Harrod pharmacy (they are who my prescriptions go to and only a few doors away from me) desperate for help. I explained my situation to the girls at the counter who are always very nice and welcoming. I told them that I could not book an appointment with my Dr any earlier than the 22nd June and I cannot wait until then for an inhaler. One of them went to explain my situation to the pharmacist called Rita. Rita came out to see me and told me that I would have to walk to the walk in centre to get a prescription and I only had 10 minutes to do so. Being heavily pregnant and considering the hot weather I could not possibly have done that. After repeating to me that it was illegal for her to give me (A HEAVILY PREGNANT ASTHMATIC WOMAN) an inhaler and me insisting that I needed help she said let me go and check your record (I’m not sure why she didn’t do that at first). After making me wait for 15 more minutes. She came back to me with an inhaler and said considering you don’t have a prescription you can have it if you pay for it. So when it got to charging me it became totally legal to give me the inhaler without a prescription. I refused to take it as it felt she was trying to take advantage of my desperate situation. I had to come home and use my husbands inhaler that is a different dosage than the one I need. It is SHOCKING to see a pharmacist specially a woman turn a blind eye at your sensitive situation and does nothing to help unless there’s money involved.

I highly recommend this pharmacy. The staff are extremely well trained, efficient, professional, helpful and overall I had an excellent experience with them. My prescription was ready in 2 minutes and I didn't have to queue up at all. Many Thanks!

I always come here for prescriptions and other regular items we need for the family. The staff are all very helpful and service is quick and caring. A few months ago I asked for an item they didn’t normally stock and it was just ordered in for me-very nice. I also had a delivery of some regular items and although they are so busy during this challenging time, it was delivered within 24 hours. It’s just always a pleasant experience:)
