If I could give no stars I would!
This place is so unorganized and doesn't know what they are doing.
Took my dog in because he was showing symptoms of cushings. I told them I wanted his blood work done.
They told me in the vist he was diabetic and that the other test would take about 4-5 days to get.
They showed me how to give him a shot and sent me on my way. No hand outs no additional info was given. I emailed them with questions and about a week later they emailed me back.
They never told me his food and insulin had to be regulated together, that I needed to buy a meter and check his blood 2 times a day to monitor what his numbers were.
They never called me with the other test results, I Had to call them and when I did they told me there is no test for cushings. THERE ABSOLUTELY IS!
I had purchased syringes from them and when I needed more I had a friend stop in and get them for me and they sold her the wrong ones. I didn't realize that you have to use certain syringes with the matching insulin.
I joined a diabetic dog group online and when I asked about them giving me the wrong ones, did it matter and it does. It can be dangerous to us the wrong one.
When I called and explained they gave me the wrong ones, Kim told me they didn't sell the kind I needed and that was why they gave them to me. I told her I bought the right ones on my first visit when I was told he was diabetic.
I told her I would think they would know that it was dangerous to give the wrong ones and not even check what insulin he was on. I literally could have killed him if I had used them!
The staff doesn't act like they care what so ever!
I could go into more that happened but these were the most serious.
Stay away from this Vet clinic!!

long post: My three dogs have been patients since 2014. 2 of the 3 gave crossed the In 2014, the love of my life, my 10 yr old Akita, Zeus was bit by a rattlesnake at our home on the nw side. He was taken to an animal ER. I decided against handing over my card and risking up to $10k+ (a mastiff was in the same boat a wk earlier w/$11k+ and no guarantee of survival) fortunately I spoke to a vet in Mxco & opted to take Zeus home & try to get him healthy diy. After a week of? I sought a vet locally. Old Pueblo was highly recommended. Let me say,Dr Ferguson (50yrs exp.) administered IV fluids, filled Zeus's medication, all for the best price ($69!) I could've asked for! Just an example of God showing you a compassionate place to go to. Dr retired but was pleasantly surprised by the new owner, a young knowledgeable female vet. She saw my newest addition to my pack, Sushi! She's an 8 wk old Chihuahua, for the first vaccination & cherry eye. I won't go anywhere else! If you find someone that cares for your pets well-being like this clinic, works for me! I suggest you do the same and bring your pets to Old Pueblo Veterinary, tell them Sushi's Nana sent you! ?‍

I’m am giving two stars (versus one) because they did try to resolve the original issue (lost the urine sample but refused to figure out who lost it AND nobody called to tell me it was lost, I called them b/c it had been over a week)!! They did offer for me to bring samples back are run it while in office but I said no. For the other items that I have tried to take care of with them over the last few months, they have stonewalled me through email yet sent me a letter discharging my cat from the practice. I don’t even know where to start, but about two months ago I brought in my rescue cat because this clinic and the rescue has a contract. So the exam was free and I paid to have typical blood work done and my cats toenails clipped. Within that same week, my cat was still acting like there was still an issue with her paws (vet at Old Pueblo said they saw nothing) so I took her to the veterinarian clinic that my other two cats normally go to.
That clinic found infections in both of her paws and her back toenails were all cut unevenly.
I had to pay more to the second vet for an antibiotic shot, a pain shot and redoing her toenails.
So I questioned if Old Pueblo missed this because how in the world could she have had that within a weeks time between two different veterinarian offices?

So I tried to follow up with the clinic to see about getting some of my monies refunded and not only would they not refund me any money, the assistant manager Rebecca stop responding to my emails on August 16 when I directly ask her about the infection and she responded quickly and said that my cat didn’t have that when she came there. I asked her is that information coming directly from the veterinarian and she would never respond to me and still hasn’t. And then I ask about the uneven toenails and getting some monies back from that and I still have not gotten an answer almost a month later. But I know they read the email because I had asked for a copy of the medical records and they sent those to me along with the note saying that it was obvious they couldn’t provide care to my satisfaction.

I was completely shocked when I got that because all they had to do was answer the questions and we could’ve just left it at that but they chose to ignore me so here we are.
I’ve dealt with many businesses throughout Tucson and I’ve never had this problem out of a veterinarian office or hardly any other office for that matter so the issue is not me, it’s them refusing to answer questions which were logical questions about the care.

So I was told by Kim about two weeks ago that the manager and the owner were out of town because I wanted a follow up for my August 16 email. I gave them time to get back from vacation and then I followed up again twice this week and have still not received a response. It’s one thing if you have a customer that’s causing an actual issue, but it’s totally different when a customer has legitimate questions about the care of their animal. I know many people complain about minor things, but it was unethical for them to refuse to answer the questions and then discharge us. I did nothing wrong to them except for asking what happened.

The proper thing to do would’ve been give me some of my money back from where I paid for the toenail clipping and then we could’ve moved on, but you guys chose to not do that and ignore me.

So if they read this and don’t try to contact me to make it right in some form or fashion, then I will continue to move up the chain because I do not have plans to let this go.

So, if you do decide to take your animal here, you better know your animal inside and out and then recheck them when you leave the practice because it makes me hesitant regarding how thorough the care is.

And if it wasn’t for the space needed here on the Google review, I would be glad to post all of the emails back-and-forth so that you can see how we were treated.

Great service at a great price. I've been visiting this clinic for the past few months for dogs and cats. The front desk is kind on the phone and in person despite them being obviously very busy. Every vet tech that's helped us has been patient and sweet and put my animals at ease. The doc is amazing and thorough. This really is the best vet I've been to and I'm so relieved it's affordable!

At least one lady there either does not know what she is doing or made a mistake and after messing up, clinic will not take responsibility; therefore causing significant hardship to my cats and self. Furthermore they redirected the blame on to us which was quite frustrating, now we have to wait a month to see our standard vet to solve the original issue and solve all the new issues that have risen from this - very displeased and would not recommend to anyone. The referrals we have had to this place will not be coming back either, they should have just owned up to their mistake and made it right, instead of prioritizing money over my cats health.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!
My dog Ice has been completely unable to walk for the past week and due to financial issues I could not afford treatment!
The wonderful people at PACC approved me for a $500 credit that can be brought to approved clinics which I was told THIS CLINIC IS!
I am without transportation working two jobs 80 hrs a week and these heartless people are refusing service because they have a completely ARBITRARY RULE where if you pull a no call no show rather than checking in or following up they would quite literally just blacklist the customer entirely despite whatever circumstances may be.
I had a no call no show appointment that I do not even recall from 2021!!! For a DIFFERENT DOG!!! So they now refuse to accept my PACC credit in addition to refusing to even see my dog!
If you are shopping around for vets PLEASE STEER CLEAR! These horribly rude and unprofessional people do NOT CARE about ANIMALS AT ALLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very disappointed in my experience here!
