Great vet who gets you in rather quickly. It's a little pricier than some. Everyone is very nice, kind, gentle, qualified! My kitty does not mind the visit, too terribly. Buy the pheromone spray!!!! They offer a towel sprayed with it to calm pets & it works on cats & dogs, amazingly!

Great Place.....you can tell everyone genuinely cares for the animals.
Dr. Biermann was awesome. We had a lot of questions, and she answered everyone. I could tell she was honest and not trying to push any products. She really does care and wants what is best for your pet. Thanks to her, we left feeling better about certain situations.

We are new to the area and brought our three large-breed dogs for an exam. The clinic is spotless and very nice. The staff was so friendly and thorough. The veterinarian took any concerns we had seriously and made us feel welcome and at ease. We’re very thankful to have found a local vet for our pups where they’ll be treated with genuine care.

I brought some bunnies in for a checkup and to set up spays and neutering. Friendly and helpful staff. Knowledgeable about bunnies (extra points for bunny knowledge!) Everyone was so helpful and considerate from the moment we walked in til the moment we left. Very refreshing!
I'm certain I'll go back for my veterinarian needs in the future.

I can’t tell you enough great things about this business, doctors and all supporting staff! This has been my vet for at least 15 years and have cared for all of my pets from birth to unfortunately the rainbow bridge. The pictures below are my babies that they care for now. Paris, Zero, Martini, BEBE, Lela, Batman, Stax and Tank.
Martini (the one with glasses on) is my oldest baby (11 years old). Unfortunately due to something unknown, his right eye had to be removed today (2/29/2024). Dr John Bates and supporting staff have treated him with such love and care during this hard time. He a little guy (5 lbs) so I was extremely worried. As soon as I knew Dr J Bates would be doing the surgery, I knew there was no need for worries.
I thank God for everyone here and the exceptional care they provide.

The grooming? Not good. The vet care? Over priced compared to others and can never see your pet in a timely fashion. The quickest way we've gotten in was when the pet was at deaths door and needed put down and then they upsell you on cremation and are all about the money. Everyone has to make money, but they take it to the extreme. Always force heartworm tests on your dogs, even when they take preventative and then try to make it out like you are a bad pet parent when you refuse. Everyone there is very 'clique-ish' and snobby, they dnt even care and act releived when you don't hold them to their word regarding coming back, another appointment or grooming appointment. Called to make grooming appointment..was told to wait for a callback. Never received one. Why wait for a callback anyway? Look at he schedule and put the dog on the book. Dog wasn't fully groomed the way we requested and within four days we took her back and she was corrected and we were charged $50 for their mistake to be corrected. Look at the reviews here, then go to yelp...yelp mentions how any negative reviews are removed by imperial animal hospital on Facebook and other sources. Here you will see five star reviews all the way down on google. Pretty unrealistic and or scrubbed, especially knowing my experience and others as others. Yelp will show you what's really up. I've went here for years and all the really good vets leave. I think the place is weird overall and am very disappointed.

Imperial deserves more than 5 stars in my book. Their entire staff both on the hospital side and the Pet Lodge side combine extreme competence with incredible caring and love for the pets in their care. As evidence of what we think about them, they are located 23 miles from our house and obviously, there are lots of very good vets much closer, but Imperial has so impressed us with their consistence excellence in every respect that we have not ever considered changing. When your pet really needs to be seen urgently, they make that happen. For one example, one of our dogs developed a big lump on one of his front legs suspiciously quickly and one of the vets came in on his day off so that the lump could be removed almost immediately (turned out to be benign). Another quality we value really highly is we have boarded our dogs during travel and they post photos and the staff really cares about them and all their charges and we feel they could not possibly be in better hands. Whatever special food or need your pet has, they make that happen. They also board other animals such as rabbits and cats and with their new building on the hospital side, the Pet Lodge/grooming side has been upgraded and they have super nice facilities for boarding, but it is the attention to detail and caring of the staff that really makes the place, not the facilities which are fabulous. They are also amazing with pets that need special care to convalesce and can do "hospital-like" care after a pet has had surgery or anything major like that and requires more care than what any normal owner could provide at home. Over nearly 8 years, we have not been disappointed a single time I can remember. I feel we were fortunate to find them and our pets have all lived longer and better lives thanks to them.

I recently had to make the extremely hard choice to put my dog to sleep due to his health issues. Everyone was so amazing and compassionate to the situation. They took me to a room with a couch and a box of little Debbie’s to spoil him in his last moments here with us. I can not say enough how amazing everyone was. This was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do and I truly appreciate everyone there in this difficult time. I will always take all my animals here! They are one of the few veterinary hospitals that are not in it for the money. They just love animals! Thanks so much to everyone that was there with both of us that day!!
