My home for several months when I was on location in Baton Rouge working on a film. The production company picked a perfect hotel for the actor's housing.

The room was impressive and had a gorgeous view of the sunset every evening. The experience was amazing and made my stay memorable.

Staff was nice. You have to ask them to clean your room because they rarely come to change the towels and never give you enough kitchen stuff. The cooking equipment is the worse. Very few cooking utensils and the pots and pans are not nonstick so your food burns and sticks to the pots

Nae was very helpful and friendly during the check-in experience. She recommended a delicious Cajun restaurant, Parrain’s, and made us feel at home. The rooms could use an update as the furniture feels old and worn and the door to the room is in need of a deep cleaning. Recommend for service and location.

Nice spacious rooms that easily sleep five. Staff was really friendly. Breakfast comes with the room and was pretty good. Would have liked if there were waffle makers, but the pre-made waffles were not too bad. Parking was easy, and there are multiple entrances to the hotel. Gym was decent.

Do not stay here. Noone was at the front desk when we arrived. We could not get into the hotel or our room. For an hour. We had to get another guest to let us in. Several families were in the same predicament as us. The range of excuses we were given went from getting coffee to someone didn't show up to work to the Microsoft issues that were resolved a week ago. Want to be ignored and lied to? Then stay here. Shame on you, Marriott.

The rooms were kind of dated compared to the other Residence Inn that we stay in but the customer service was phenomenal. I will say that the pool was less the welcoming due to how dirty it was.

The Hotel is very easy to access from Corporate Blvd. I'm giving this hotel a 5 star review because of an exceptional team member who made my stay unforgettable. Every now and then you come across someone who loves their job and customer service matters to them. For me this person is Dawn. She turned my entire stay around. She personally came to my room to speak to me and make sure I was 100% pleased with my room. She went over and beyond to make sure I left with a very happy guest. I wish her all the best! It would wonderful if their were more Dawn's in the world that could make everyone's travel experiences incredible. However, since their is only one version of this Dawn, I want to give her flowers today. Marriott, you have jewel at your property in Baton Rouge! I hope she is recognized and I see her upper management one day! Thank you also to the amazing Ms Kathy for assisting Dawn!! Ms Kathy has a heart of Gold!! Best Wishes to both of you ladies!

The hotel is in need of a refurbishment. The furniture is beat up . Every single thing of metal in the bathroom is covered in rust. The grout is stained and shower enclosure is stained. The room was not cleaned well. Large drips of food on couch arm and chair in bedroom. Crumbs on the floor under the desk and found a clothing tag on the floor next to the bed which if anyone would have cleaned it would have been easily seen. Generally not great and clearly needs some work.
