I needed a vet for my new furbaby. I had previously taken my senior dog to a highly rated vet and I’ve regretted that decision. I wish I’d of known to come to this place instead. Don’t let the negative reviews of this place turn you away. The staff here is kind and knowledgeable. I wanted to wait till I made at least 2 trips to this office before posting a review, just in case they were only nice bc I’m a new client. That is not the case. Both times they treated my dog with kindness. She was happy to go into the office the second time even tho the first time she went she had to get all her vaccinations. They gave her, her first nail clipping and she still came out tail wagging and happy. I was lucky to be there when there wasn’t any crazy emergencies- so we were in and out with very minimal wait time. Thank you for keeping my “Little” healthy.

I brought my senior dog in today. our family was afraid it might be "that" time. the staff and the vet were SO helpful and informative. they were kind and gentle with my dog. The vet really gave us piece of mind and helped us understand the situation better. She gets 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!! I would definitely recommend this place! Great environment and great staff!

I have saved two cats from this place. Both cats are great and living their best lives.
I came in one week ago and happened to come across this beautiful cat they had for adoption.
I filled out an application and they told me the lady who decides would be in the following day to review my application.

I called the next day and they said they needed proof that my other cat was neutered and up to date on rabies shots because they couldn’t find my records at the hospital I told them I went.

So I called that hospital myself and resolved the issue and called back to let them know that I had what they needed. She gave me an email address and I sent it right away and waited.
I called a few times throughout the week to see if there was an update and they would just tell me they didn’t know and were very vague.

So flash forward to today I called again hoping that I’d have an answer.
The lady who is in charge of deciding who gets to adopt cats comes onto the phone and says “I never received your paperwork through email.” (Which is true because it did not send)
So I sent the paperwork to her through their website because there’s an option for you to do that, and I wanted to provide documentation for my current cat make sure I was able to adopt the cat there at the shelter.
She says to me “I don’t go on the website to check that stuff so if you want this cat you’re going to have to bring your other cat in and prove to us he’s neutered and pay $65 for a rabies shot for your indoor cat that never goes outside and then we’ll consider you adopting this cat.”
Earlier in the week I had quickly agreed to bring my cat in to show her he was neutered (but that was before I had the paperwork myself to prove willow was neutered) and she wouldn’t give me a chance to actually make an appointment to bring my cat in.
Before she hung up the phone with me she said “I’m sure I’ll be able to find a home for this cat who can actually afford and take care of it.”
I think that’s absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. I have purchased two cats from this place. Why would I have such a problem even after agreeing to provide the documentation they needed?

I just thought I’d make everyone aware of the type of people who run this business.

As a cat owner, it's tough to find a vet you really like and everyone here is always so wonderful with our two cats. I've taken them to bigger, well-known vets in the area for emergency reasons and they never really care about cats.

We really feel cared for here and they are very good with handling our cats. Yes, some cats are a little hostile at the vet, but mostly they are just very afraid. If you make them feel safe, their reaction isn't so bad. We only have one growler, but she can be calmed down with petting and soothing voices. They are very good with her.

We get our yearly check up and vaccines here.

I think the wait times are reasonable. I usually wait about 10 minutes, but it goes by fast watching the cats up for adoption through the window. I also think the price is reasonable and we bring in both cats at once for 3 shots a piece every year.

I have 4 big dogs and I take them here every year for their shots and check up. There’s been multiple times my dogs have had to come in for other reasons and had to have surgeries done, each surgery has been a big success. This vet office is very welcoming and make me and the dogs feel like family. Below is a before and after picture of the biggest surgery one of my dogs had to go thru after having his face ripped open getting in a dog fight. The doctor did a great job!

I have been going to Dr. Amran for over 16 years. My first dog was 16 years old when she passed away and I now have a 3 year old daschund and trust her explicitly. The staff is amazing, very kind and patient with your animals. Dr. Amran is knowledgeable, understanding, and very passionate about animals. It shows in everything she does and her staff is a shining example of that. I highly recommend Dr. Amran to anyone. Also for people that complain about occasionally having to wait, I have had to wait once or twice, it has always been because of a very sick animal that needs her time, I respect her time and know if my animal ever needed to be seen because she were sick I would receive the same and would hope other people would be compassionate as well.

The care my cat has received from Dr. Amram and the rest of the staff at this facility has been exemplary. They have gone above and beyond to make my cat feel better and explain the options to me. They have kept her calm and make a scary situation for her better. They even donated a cat carrier to make transport easier. I am forever grateful that this is the clinic that I take my cat too. They have helped make a sad situation more hopeful.

I am so grateful for Dr. Amram. She perform surgery on my geriatric 18 year old cat. The doctor did a wonderful job answered every question. Explained everything to me. Wonderful and caring. I highly recommend Griffith animal Hospital. I think the staff was absolutely awesome. This is the place for me to take my pets for now on. Thank you so much all you wonderful staff and a special thanks to the doctor.
