This is an extraordinary veterinary hospital. They focus on orthopedic procedures and are experts in this field. The entire staff is capable and friendly. Our experience with our Bernese Mountain Dog was excellent. Everything was quick and on time with easy to understand follow up and maintenance for our pup. If your critter has an orthopedic issue, please use this clinic.

All the local vets and Lafayette/Purdue wanted to amputate our dogs leg. We were very happy the surgeon not only said it was possible, he could do it that week ... she's still healing after a week but she's getting around fine....on 4 legs. We are very happy

Very nice staff and Doctor! Beautiful clinic/hospital. Clean and big. Took great care of my boy and the cost was very reasonable! I would recommend to anyone needing orthopedic help with their pet. Surgery on my doodles knee. I am so happy with Dr. Claude G. He is wonderful And my girl is back with her family

I highly recommend VOC!! Dr Gendreau is truly incredible and does amazing work! Our 6 year pit mix could barely walk on her back legs and had to have bilateral TPLOs. The outcome was truly remarkable and we are so grateful she was in the best hands! Dr Gendreau called to check on our pup the night of surgery, and answered all of my questions and put my worries at ease! All of the staff were so helpful and patient with me and all my questions and concerns! I am truly grateful for them!

Update: 9/23 The Vet Ortho Center has been so amazing. 3 years ago, my dog went into their office not walking and came out walking. I left a review 3 years ago. He has seen them on and off since... he needed additional therapy this year and their care continued. Blanco was their star pupil. We loved the care they gave him and attention to his small and big needs. Last week, he tore his CCL and needed TPLO surgery. Again, Dr. Gendreau gave us good advice... he was very thorough, provided good explanations of possible outcomes and options.. Last month they did xrays and diagnosed his severe arthritis -- the pool therapy and meds seemed to be helping him. He was not a candidate for surgery. Then he had a fall -- causing a torn ACL/CCL. We scheduled surgery and brought him in. Blanco always wanted to "go see Alma" -- he was comfortable at the Ortho vet. The staff showed their love for him for all of his care.... They were exceptionally thorough and Dr. and the staff treated us like family .... like they were treating their own dog. In the 3 years we have been going to Ortho Vet, I see many dogs enter and leave -- transformed from surgery or treatment from one of the most experienced ortho vets in the nation and excellent treatment by the staff. These folks aren't into just doing an expensive procedure to take your money and walk away -- They always wanted to see Blanco succeed... and they know what could be done and they did their utmost to keep costs reasonable and manageable for us. But mostly, Blanco was loved and treated compassionately with treatment that was never out of line. I never doubted their care. We will always be indebted for the 3 years they gave to us so that we could enjoy Blanco's company when most people would've given up on him. Words cannot express our gratitude to the staff of Ortho Vet.

Be open to asking questions; tell them your own limitations. They worked with us; they loved our big dog. He sadly passed away but Ortho vet gave Blanco his life back 3 years ago and the staff went above and beyond to help us. We cannot thank them enough.

8/20 Wow- the therapy and attention have been super— they definitely know what they’re up to. My dog is transformed — I wish the same for any dog needing therapy and evaluation. I have a large dog and they’ve been exceptionally supportive. My dog loves the water therapy with Alma. He went in not walking at all and now is nearly normal— I’m sure everyone’s circumstances are different but I felt they’ve been honest, thorough and very reasonable.
