We had to make a later evening visit after our dog unexpectedly passed away. They were able to accommodate us as new clients as well help us through the difficult time. The entire ordeal, while very sad and challenging, was made better thanks to the kindness and compassion of everyone at the animal hospital. Dr. Henry was very kind and sympathetic and helped guide us through the next steps.

My Vet took the absolute best care of our sweet cat Sonny who unfortunately passed from a progressive kidney disease. Every single person who works here was so compassionate and caring towards our cat. Dr. Henry was informative and friendly and explained everything to us in ways we could understand. Anytime we brought our cat in for check ups, they gave him lots of treats and made sure he was comfortable when getting tests or shots done. When his kidney disease progressed rapidly overnight, they moved their schedule around for us so we could bring him in to be put down. Although it was so hard for us to do, they made sure to take care of us and put our needs first. HUGE shoutout to women at the front desk who gave us hugs and really made us feel cared for. They said so many kind words to us and about our cat. If I could leave more than 5 stars I would, I trust them with all my future pet needs and recommend them to anyone!!

Dr Lee has been phenomenal in managing my dog's IVDD flares. He is kind and has excellent bedside manner when interacting with my very anxious pup. The staff always call to check in after appointments and accommodate availability for scheduling very well. I am always impressed with how promptly we are able to be seen. I am very satisfied with our care at MyVet for about 8 years now and figured it was time for a proper 5 star review. Highly recommend.

My Vet has been so incredibly accommodating to my cat Loon. He's a super scared and shy cat who has a hard time with loud noises and sudden movements, and the vet always gets him right into a room the second we walk in the door. On top of that, Dr. Henry and the vet techs are always mindful about how they approach him and walk into the room, and it's the little things like that that make my cat feel less stressed and overall have a better experience.

We have also had a few emergencies since being in Chicago for about a year, and My Vet has given great recommendations and is ALWAYS kind and accommodating when I voice my concerns. They go the extra mile and it makes all the difference! Definitely take your pets here!

I also appreciate their proactive communication, providing friendly reminders for upcoming appointments, which helps ensure we never miss a visit. Dr. Lee has been taking care of my dog for years, and he’s always shown integrity and dedication. He has brought many new clients to My Vet. I was disappointed to hear that he was let go suddenly and without notice to his current clients. In tough economic times, it’s important to support one another. I could not fathom firing someone who has a new born child. People move on from jobs, but there’s no need to burn bridges. As a business owner, I’d never do someone like that.

10/25/2024 (Edit): Dr. Lee is a human being and one of the greatest vets of all time…not just a business decision.

I’d prefer to leave zero stars.
Our dogs have been patients of Dr Lee for years! They are now 12 years old and he has taken the best care of them throughout every stage of life. We would drive 2 hours to see Dr. Lee at MyVet after we left the city because we trusted him so much. Now that we’ve relocated back to the city we are angry to find out that MyVet has fired him without notice to him or his patients! (He has a new baby!) We have found out that he is opening a new practice Ivy Vet and will be following him there to continue our pets exceptional care. Shame on MyVet for abruptly disrupting our pets care and inconveniencing all of Dr. Lee’s patients.

When I moved to the city over a decade ago, my dog walker strongly recommended My Vet Animal Hospital. My dog Baron (70lb mutt) was a patient here for over a decade, until his passing. Dr. Robin and Dr. Lee were his most recent vets, but the whole team at the office has been beyond amazing, helping to keep Baron happy and healthy well into his silver years - he was still able to trot around corn mazes and comfortably go on family adventures as a 13 year old greying man 🙂

The staff knew Baron personally and treated us both like family, I cannot imagine having a pet without the support of an incredible vet team like this one!
