This animal hospital is great! The Vets are extremely knowledgeable and truly care for your pets. I’ve been going there for several years with my cats and friends have their dogs there for over a decade. It’s a little bit of a drive from my neighborhood but completely worth it. Staff is great too. It’s the small town feeling as a compliment bc of how much they care.l which is hard to come by as far as some other vets in the city. Also one of the Vets there does research on pet food brands and will tell you which brands have good/safe ingredients. He will also continue the research as some brands can be safe but then start adding something that results in putting it on the not so good list. Very helpful!

Where do I even begin…RVAH and its staff members are beyond exceptional. The level of care we have received time and time again has been far beyond our expectations. Dr. Rovner is one of the best and truly, the compassion he exudes for his patients does not go unnoticed. The attention to detail, the data and reasoning, the education for his craft are extremely helpful and the reasons we’ve kept coming back to receive this high level of care. Our GSD partially tore his CCL last summer. After receiving three different opinions from doctors in the area, all were quick to put him under the knife and prepare for a costly surgery, almost immediately. I was determined to find another answer and a friend referred me to Dr. Rovner for PRP therapy. After receiving this treatment it was as if our dog was brand new again, pre injury. No invasive surgery, 1/5 of the cost and above all no traumatic operations that would lead to earlier onset arthritis pain.
I highly encourage you to choose this practice for care of your loved one. You will receive nothing but the best service from those at the front desk as you walk in, to the wonderful techs and aids (today we worked with Eve - she was INCREDIBLE!!) that so graciously care for your loved ones and above all, a terrific medical staff that act with the most compassionate minds.

The team is extremely knowledgeable, caring, and always has the best interest of my dog. Even though my dog is reactive, the team’s been more than willing to help and want above and beyond to take care of us.

Everybody here is always super friendly. The doctor takes time to explain everything and answer your questions. They are also reasonably priced and look for ways to help save costs that won’t affect the health of your pet. I’ve taken all of my animals here.
