I needed an urgent visit after a lump on my dog’s tail ruptured. It was easy to make an appointment. He was sedated for the first clean up, and we’ve been back almost everyday this week for rebandaging. Everyone has been very sweet to him. They are quick and thorough, keep me informed, and things are healing well. They even did red and green bandaging today for our Christmas party! I love my regular vet, but will definitely return to Scout if we have another emergency. Tip: they validate parking in the Lincoln commons parking garage across the street.

Had an amazing experience at Scout Urgent Care in Lincoln Park with Dr. Simpson. As a French Bulldog owner, I’ve been to plenty of vets across Chicago and Scout truly stands out. They’re everything you want in an urgent care—kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, patient—I could go on. Big thanks to Dr. Simpson for taking such great care of my dog. Hopefully, we won’t need to come back any time soon, but if we do, I know we’ll be in the best hands.

Scout made it easy to get an urgent care appointment online. Their staff was great with both me and my dog (who is quite anxious). The care team was thorough and made sure I understood what they were going to do and what I needed to know once we left. While I hope that I don’t need to go again, if I do it will be with full confidence in their care team.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Pia Gomez Postigo regarding my Great Dane’s broken toe. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive, providing timely updates and setting realistic expectations throughout the process. Dr. Gomez Postigo also assisted me in connecting with an orthopedic specialist and presented treatment options with clear and transparent pricing.

Overall, I was very impressed with the level of care at this facility and would highly recommend it. Additionally, Fran at the front desk was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, making this experience even better

I’ve been to this clinic twice with my cat, Olive. Once for a potential worm issue, and again today for a case of pink eye. The staff here is warm, kind, and informative. The only thing that I would change is that I wish they offered wellness so they could be my primary veterinarian! Love this place. Absolutely recommend for pet urgent care.

We had a very upsetting stomach emergency with our dog, and Scout handled every curveball with total kindness and professionalism. They scheduled us for a last-minute appointment and dealt with our dog’s illness with so much understanding — everything they did made everyone feel as at ease as we could be during a scary situation. Dr. Simpson and the staff were super transparent about everything that was going on during the visit, from recommended diagnostics and treatment, to the costs associated. If we ever find ourselves in the unfortunate place of having a medical emergency with our dog again, we’ll certainly look to Scout first.

We had a great visit at Scout Urgent Care for our cat that was having some concerning litter box issues after a trip to the emergency vet (MedVet - awesome emergency resource!) prior in the week.

Scout was recommended by our regular vet who didnt have any availability to see our cat. Scheduling with Scout was super easy online and they had tons of availability that worked with our schedule. Parking is validated at a nearby garage - super amazing perk.

We were seen very fast and very happy with the attention and care our cat received. There was no pressure to perform expensive tests. The vet, Dr. Simpson, educated us on what was going on to likely cause the symptoms in our cat, performed all the exams she needed to rule out serious issues, and gave us a few options for how to proceed. They offered xrays in house. We declined, but its nice to know it was an immediate option. The tech that also worked with us was amazing with handling our cat and helping us get to the bottom of our cat's issues. We were there for a total of 30 minutes (because everything was looking good, not because we were rushed).

Scout is a great "in-between" for a regular vet visit and an emergency vet. I highly recommend and would return to this office if needed.

In the spirit of transparency to those looking at reviews, the total cost of our visit was $135 which is honestly less expensive than a normal evaluation at our regular vet.
