Finn had his first groom today, and he looks amazing! First off, we had to reschedule our appointment because Finn wasn’t feeling well. I asked if there was any way we could squeeze him in this week once he was better since we’re going out of town for the weekend, and they were so accommodating. The appointment took exactly how much time they had quoted me for, and the price is fair and comparable to other groomers I’ve looked at in the area. He was alittle nervous since it was his first full groom, but we will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend Heidi- I forgot to show my inspiration picture so she just went off me saying teddy cut, and he looks almost identical to what I had been imagining!

I have been coming here for about 3 1/2 years now. I recently moved away but I’m always willing to do the commute back. I never leave disappointed because they have my fur babies looking fresh and amazing every time. I believe you get great service for a reasonable price. Will always recommend this place 🙂

I'm disappointed to write this review because Frida and I have been loyal customers of Temple since I got her in 2021. Unfortunately, today’s experience has led me to decide it’s time to switch groomers. Frida has been going to Temple every other month for a full groom (which, with tip, always exceeds $100).

Today, I was running late due to an unavoidable work situation and arrived 18 minutes past her appointment time—just three minutes beyond their 15-minute grace period. I completely understand the need for grace periods to keep the schedule on track, but when I tried to explain my situation, the guy at the front desk showed no willingness to listen. Instead, I was turned away and charged a $50 no-show fee.

What truly upset me was the lack of understanding and appreciation for someone who has supported their business consistently over the years (I followed them after they moved). While I respect policies, it’s disappointing when a loyal client’s circumstances are met with rigidity rather than compassion. I’ll be looking for a groomer who values and supports their long-standing customers.

The first time I took my pups they did good. I have 2 goldendoodles and I even left a good review on google. The second time I took them the groomer they had decided to shave one of my dogs. I specifically told him not to shave his head and legs and he still did. The day I dropped them off the groomer seemed a liitle frustrated. I believe that he is not enjoying his job!

We love Temple! Jess has been grooming my 3 Poms and does an amazing job! They always look and smell fantastic after, and they actually LIKE going and are never stressed after! ❤️

I have a miniature schnauzer and they have treated him amazingly well! We have continued to come to Temple of the Dog and Cat because Jasper loves his groomer, Nyleen, and she always does a great job. She always takes the time to hear what we want done and how she can do it!

Awesomeness place to get your furry friends cleaned up like rock stars! Berlin Vom Princehaus loved her experience and never smelled so good! When they walked her outside to my van she came into her place in the co-pilot seat and just sat there grinning! Love you Temple of the Dog will be seeing you again real soon. Prior to coming to Temple of the Dog, my pup was raised in a groom shop out of state and had the same groomer his whole life (so we were nervous about having to find a new groomer). After moving to the area our dog was about 6 months overdue for a haircut. Today he was groomed by Heidi and she did an AMAZING JOB! He was in and out within a few hours and he looks and smells like a dream. The prices are very reasonable and the owner Tara and her staff are extremely friendly. So happy we found Heidi and Temple of the Dog!
