I have been taking my dogs in throughout my entire adult life. Sadly because of their lifespan, it's been several dogs. I wouldn't dream of taking my pets anywhere else! I'm getting to know the younger vets. I still miss Dr Duncan sonce she retired but still get to see Dr Burke when she's available. Love her!!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. For over a week, we have been trying to get them to run all the tests possible because our dog had bad diarrhea. they prescribed a couple different medicines but they would listen to what was going on. They just kept on saying "let it run its course." Today we went to a different vet to found out that our dog had cancer. They are LAZY, DON'T CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY, NOR DO THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR ANIMAL. Find any other vet in the world and they will do better than the st. joe animal hospital.

My family has used St. Joe’s since I was a little kid and I’ve been bringing my own pets here now that I’m an adult. I absolutely love them but for the love of all things that are good, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get an answering machine. I’ve called over 20 times just today and the phone is always busy with no way to leave a vm. I’ll have to drive 1 hour round trip to go in and schedule because I can’t get through to anyone on the phone and there is no other way to get in touch. It’s 2024. Please get a voicemail.

i ordered a ointment for my dogs eye. due to him rolling in something in the grass. i called my vet and told them chewy would be calling they said ok everything was fine, they would let the vet know. well apparently when contected by chewy they cancelled the pescription. i went up there to find out why. they told me they cancelled it because they didnt prescribe it for my dog. even tho they are my vet, he has been there 5 months ago for his yearly checkup. in other words i have to make an apointment and pay 100 to 200$ just to get a little eye ointment for my dog that costs 12$. they didnt call or email to tell me they cancelled it. and when i said you could have called and said something. they said that is not their job. so if you need something for your pet, however minor you need to pay 100 to 200$ for an apointment. kyle also lied on medical documents after this happened. if he is willing to do that, what else would he do.

St Joseph animal hospital has professional and friendly staff. They have helped our bulldog with her ear infections and allergies. They gave the just reasonable prices around my mother drives down from the Chicago suburbs to save on quality care for her beagle. Would highly recommend.
