I came in a week ago for just a hair cut of my split ends & long layers. Had no problem with the salon or the stylist herself. She was very nice and down to earth. I made my appointment with Mel. I had a 9:30am appointment and finished at 11:30pm which a I thought was a little long for just a haircut, but every stylist is different. Once I arrived, I was informed instead of the $18 quote over the phone it would be a $40 charge to cut my hair. Which I just thought maybe they misunderstood over the phone if it was a mens cut. I left the salon knowing it was shorter than I had wanted specifically with the layers, but went home hoping it wasn’t as bad as I had thought as I couldn’t see the back of my head that well. Once I got home, I was able to show my boyfriend & family and they agreed it was a pretty bad haircut. My mom was especially upset due to my brothers wedding being in 1 week. I was able to get it fixed by a different salon for free and the manager at Crew Clips was willing to give a refund for the haircut which I appreciate greatly. This salon might be good for men’s cuts, but I wouldn’t recommend for women’s hair cuts. Been growing my hair out for 4 years for it to be close to my shoulders again, but it’s hair and will grow back eventually. *pictures are of my hair before (after kayaking on a windy day) - haircut at Crew Clips - hair after fixed by another salon*

We just had the most amazing experience at Crew Clips in Diamond, IL. We really wanted to get the boys’ hair cut before school starts, and even though Joey (who has autism) has struggled with getting his hair cut before, we really wanted to try again. Our hairstylist was so calm & patient. She cut Luke’s hair & did an amazing job! Then when Joey was going to go, she asked what he needed & tried everything to make sure he was comfortable. In the end he had a meltdown & I was crying by the time we got back in the car ? but our stylist told me to bring Joey back so he can get to know her & eventually he might like going! I highly recommend this place. Seriously the best experience.

In our society where I often feel judged or out of place as an autism family, today was not one of those days. ? thank you Crew Clips ❤️?

We had sherry she was absolutely perfect with my 3 year old if you have kids this is the best place to go amazing place and very affordable we’re definetly going here whenever he and my daughter needs there hair cut

They don't accept appointments and have "closed early" 3 times this week. Currently have a signed "be back at 130" and it's 135. Haircuts have been good when I can get them!

Terrible hair cut on my son. Completely uneven. They did contact me properly after I left a message to complain and sent pictures but I couldn't trust them to cut his hair again to fix it.

My grandsons came in there for a haircut and left looking like they did their own haircut and they are 3 ! I do not recommend this business at all!!

Absolutely the worst hair cut i have ever received. My hair is uneven and looks like it was cut by a two year old.
