We had great faith in the kennel. They were extra loving with our dogs. before our first visit I spoke with the owner and she stated she was fully cover with ins. Well our last visit upon picking up our pups our older dog was terribly sick. He could not even keep down a drink of water without throwing it up. We took him to our vet and was referred to U of I Emergency Vet. Our dog spent 10 days and over $10,000 later we find out Cozy Canine Cottage has an animal exclusion on their policy. So our bills were not covered. I don’t understand why a kennel owner would have an animal exclusion on their policy when that’s their business to take care of animals. ?

I've never been here before or used this facility. It seems very well kept & the furbabies seem to be very well taken care of while they are there. I picked up my fur baby and he was not traumatized or acting any different then when he was dropped off. I would definitely recommend for furbies to be taken care of and not be treated any different then at their own homes.

I would NEVER take my dog here. Their prior neighbor told me the owners' (JULIE) dachshunds died due to not getting routine canine vaccination. Surprisingly public now ? Used to be illegal to my knowledge. Extremely reliable source. I love my pets and think people have a right to know THE TRUTH.

Julie was great. The facility was very clean, our dog was well taken care of, and our dog had plenty of room/time to run and play in the yard. Will definitely use again and highly recommend!
