We love supporting local businesses and we absolutely love the Urban Mutt. The staff is very knowledgeable and they are great at giving you alternatives if you are not able to find what you are originally looking for or if you have concerns over best food options for your pup. They also offered great samples which helped us with our dogs diet. They only carry higher-end food so don't expect the cheap stuff but I feel like true dog lovers don't want the garbage... After all think of how you would feel if you were only eating McDonald's everyday when you could be eating fresh non-processed food.... Just saying.

I moved from Aurora last month and it was time to buy my pets food and I couldn't find it anywhere. I didn't want to drive back to Aurora so someone told me about The Urban Mutt. I called right away and found that they do carry our brand of food, FROMM. The lady was super nice and gave me all the flavors and prices before I drove to the store. I took my dog along for the drive and was so happy I did upon arriving at the super nostalgic shop. I took his photo in the outside photo prop before going into the store. I loved it! I go the food I needed for a fair price and of course we got a little peanut butter paw cup treat. I have now found my new store for pet food.

I was looking for a pet store that carries the brand Fromm cat and dog food. The only place I could find in the area was Urban Mutt. I absolutely love the location and nostalgia of the store. It's on a corner in the middle of a neighborhood and has the cutest picture taking stand outside to take photos of your pet. Pets are allowed in the store. The staff are all friendly and helpful. I always receive a free sample with my purchase. If there is something you are looking for and they don't have they can order the item for you. Overall, I love that I found this store and will continue to shop here for my pets needs.

Xavier was the most helpful person I could ever ask for. In the recent winter freeze I realized my dog needed snow shoes, after going to MULTIPLE stores I called this location. Not only did he tell me that they had them in stock but also told me how to measure my dogs feet for the right sizing and explain everything to me so well. Genuinely so thankful for urban mutt and their employees!

I love the fact they have such a variety! Not all the usual things, adorable, unique treats! The staff is always so wonderful! I believe this is our dog's favorite place to visit! Reminds me of an old-fashioned candy store except it's for pets!

I started getting my raw freeze dried food there and for the second time last week they were out of it and I had to go somewhere else Which was inconvenient because I’m literally two minutes from there.
