I recently had to put my 13 1/2 yr old dog down and my regular vet was not able to assist with euthanasia due to holidays. Milbrandt Veterinary Hospital was able to get us in quickly and provided care when I needed it most. Losing my 13 yr old dog was heart wrenching, but the staff treated us with kindness and were caring and respectful. I was able to stay with my girl to the very end.

this place is clean, calm professional atmosphere; staff is very organized, efficient and friendly.. both on phones and in-person . our appoint was on time. Most importantly, the doctor was honest, gentle, listened to my concerns, and explained everything very well. the whole appointment took maybe 30min.

UPDATE: 11/04/24 I had to come back and let people know how blessed I am to have Chris and their office staff as my new vet. My Bella has some severe allergies where she chews her feet and cries and wines because she is itchy, It was a Friday afternoon, I called the office to ask them what milligrams of Apoquil I should get Bella through Chewy online prescription. The amazing front office staff asked Chris (Vet) what dose should I get for her. I went right on to Chewy, ordered it by 5pm on a Friday the office woman (I'll come back and say her name when I get it) She okayed the prescription and it went through so fast, here it is Monday (3 days later) it was delivered at my house. My poor Bella needed this so bad. Thank you all for being amazing. I'm so blessed that you all are my new fur babies vet office.

Yesterday 4/26/24 was the first time I visited Dr. Chris Swanson and his team. I was nervous to see another vet. Because of unforeseen circumstances my past vet office refused to see my dog. So, I needed to find a new one. My lil girl Bella had started biting her feet viciously and scratching constantly on her tummy, and licking herself making sores. I didn't have to say much Dr. Chris see the red patterns and can tell that she's chewing her feet. To me it didn't look noticeable. She sleeps with me so this was happening 24-7 keeping me awake too. She has a fungal, bacteria infection due to skin allergies. She has always been a licker but this was constant chewing and licking. Dr. Chris squats down and Bella hopped in his lap and just snuggled with him, it was so awesome to see. She is not used to being around men at all. It's just me and my two dogs. He's very hands on and loves what he does and it shows. Anyways, he gave her an injection to help with her allergies. And some drops for her ears, which I didn't realize they were bothering her. But Dr. Chris noticed it right away.
And the difference in her today is phenomenal. She wants to play and she ate this morning. And taking a normal nap like she used too. The vet tech, a nice young gentleman (I didn't get his name) I will edit this when I get his name cause he was so nice and helpful. I wanted her to get some relief and now she is finally at peace. When I was in line for the appt a nice lady was telling me how amazing Milbradt is and how much Dr. Chris helped her bull mastiff that has horrible allergies. She stated that she paid a lot of money to see an allergy specialist with no luck. She found Milbradt and now her mastiff is doing amazing. I am seeing it myself today. I felt so comfortable there, that I made an appt to get Bella spayed at the end of June. And the price to be seen today was really reasonable, lowest I've found yet. Oh, and on the desk there's a lock box for people to donate money to help people's animals that need surgery and cannot afford it. That's amazing to me. I found my new vet. If you have a doubt about this place, don't. Just go check them out. Some vet's I called couldn't get me in for a month or longer. They would have got me in right away if I didn't have to work. They fit us in my first day off. Thank you Dr. Chris and team. I will be back .

I recommend coming to this vet for all of your puppy needs, shots, spade, etc. However there is one vet tech, Veronica, who is not very informative and does not have any patience when you ask any questions and she is hard to understand. All of the other vet technicians are amazing.
