We used to love this place and have spent thousands over the past year. I wish I didn't have to rate it so low, but things seemed to have changed in the past few months.

Our lab had been going since he was a puppy. Doesn't have a mean bone in his body—family, friends, and strangers have commented on his sweet disposition. 7 Paws even told us he plays with dogs others won't play with. Needless to say we were surprised when they twice claimed he was aggressive with another dog. He's never displayed ANY aggression and they couldn't say what happened or why. Besides, many times he came home with scabs and it never was a concern of theirs then. There are also no webcams available to the public. It left us questioning the staff's level of training and the level of supervision overall.

After the second "incident", with no previous warning, we got two differing stories from different workers on what to expect for any future visit. I wish I could say this was the first time we received mixed messages. We reached out twice for clarification—no response. I was shocked when I next picked him up and found he was in a room the size of a closet for the whole visit. He was crying, desperate to go outside and do his business, and based on how much water he needed was very dehydrated.

If they replied with clear details and he was clearly in the wrong, I'd be calling our trainer to work on the issue. But no communication leaves me wondering if there isn't a good explanation. After that last visit I worry they just don't care. I guess we'll find another place that does.

I just adopted a 14-week-old puppy who I adore, but it is so bitterly cold and snowy out that there is no way I can safely walk him. That’s why 7 Paws a Week has been a Godsend! There is no way I would be able to provide my puppy the same outlet for energy and socialization that they do, especially in such frigid weather. When we arrive he is so excited and happy. When I bring him home he is exhausted and sleeps happily (see photo). As a bonus, his socialization and self-confidence have grown considerably.

One of my favorite parts is checking their Facebook page during the day to see photos and videos of the dogs having a blast. The staff is friendly and I can tell they all love the dogs there.

My 6 month old puppy Cal has been going to a different doggy daycare for about 3 months now and loves it. Unfortunately they’re understaffed which means less dogs can be accommodated which is why I started looking at other daycares. I called and was told to get cal in for an evaluation to see how he responds to other dogs, which I expected. When I walked in and told them we were there for the evaluation the man at the front said “okay” and went to grab Cal’s leash out of my hand to bring him back. No explanation, no introduction, no tour of the building (you can not see where your dog will spend their day from just walking in the front). I had to stop him and ask if I could see where they were taking him or if they have a plan for what he would be doing while there. The man chuckled and explained he would be in a crate to start (next to what sounded like 30 other hysterically barking dogs) and then he would be slowly introduced to different sizes of dogs. Against my instinct I left and came back after this 2 hour evaluation. Upon picking him up a very nice front desk girl (who didn’t even do his evaluation) told me he was good with humans but showed dominance and aggression towards the other dogs. Like I mentioned, cal has been at a different doggy daycare that post pictures of him playing with all different sizes and breeds of dogs on their social media and I’ve never received a complaint about his behavior. I did voice my opinion on this experience to the nice front desk girl who apologized and said they have a lot of new people working. At the end of the day this daycare appears to be hiring people with no training or experience and didn’t leave me trusting them with my fur baby. Don’t settle for this place, there’s much better out there.

It reeks of dog pee when you walk in, and the front door has a crack through it. I was told the initial evaluation is free and it would be up to 6 hours. I pick up my pup at 5.5 hours and was charged $25 because it was over 3 hours. Changing the number of hours after we confirmed our pups visit today is not okay. I would have picked her up earlier. The blonde girl behind the desk didn’t even tell me how my pup did and was very rude. Said she was “enforcing the policy” regarding the hours despite other staff saying otherwise.
