The attention to detail that they give on every groom and making certain that our fur baby feels pampered and adored are just some of the positive attributes! Ashley is amazing!!! I called this morning to see if she could clip the nails of an elderly dog I know, who was severely overdue for a clipping. She was able to fit us in this afternoon and didn't charge us! SHE'S SUPER GENEROUS and has an amazing heart!!! Thank you Ashley from the bottom of my heart!!! ?. Ashley was incredible to work with from the start. As soon as I entered her salon, she greeted Pickles (my Shiz Tzu) and I. We had a fairly in-depth conversation of what I was hoping to achieve out of Pickles haircut, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, since Pickles does not like to be brushed, he had a lot of matting. Ashley made sure to text me and inform me of the matting, and we came up with a new plan on what haircut would be more realistic given his current state. Never once did I feel like I was being shamed for Pickles being matted. This is just one example of what makes her stand out from other groomers. Most of all, I feel like Ashley treated Pickles as if he were her own. Pickles will definitely be back. ?

Unfortunately the communication with this owner/groomer was poor and my Aussie was left totally shaved. She claimed he was super matted but I didn’t think he was beyond his usual messy self. Since I was out of a town for work I chose to trust her and wound up with a shaven dog despite me saying multiple times that I did NOT want his hair cut so short that it messes up his natural under coat. My in laws picked him up and immediately called me because they were concerned about him, and they told me he wasn’t that matted when they dropped him off.

My attempts at communicating with the lady about it was a failure as well since she immediately got defensive, wouldn’t take responsibility for anything, and then was passive aggressive when I tried to explain the different sides of information that I was getting from people because again, IM NOT THERE. This lady lost all possibility of me giving her a second chance. If she had been more open to a discussion about it and talking through where the miscommunication was I probably would have given her a second chance but she just got aggressive and rude at the end.

Photos are of my poor red tri Aussie that’s now shaven to less than an inch, and the other is what he normally looks like. He only just grew a lot of his hair back a few months ago after losing some of it to chemo treatments so that is also a big reason why this is extremely upsetting for us.

Update: And as you can see, she continues to attack me over this... I know my dog and I know he wasn't that matted. And he has been groomed in the last 6 months, just not professionally. Of course I'm going to regret a decision to trust someone's professional judgement when it turns out to be not at all what I was expecting based on the communication provided.

My sweet girl looks and smells so good! Ashley is absolutely amazing! She really loves the dogs she takes care of and it shows! It was so nice to know that my dog was the only one there and she was done a lot quicker than other groomers. She listens to what you want. I would recommend her 10/10.

I love that she does one family at a time with no other dogs hanging around waiting their turn. My dog isn't always great with other dogs and has gotten super amped up at other places because there are other dogs there. She is also super friendly, great at communicating, and my dog seems to do really well with her once he gets past his anxiety of me leaving him. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a groomer.
