Be warned and do NOT have your dogs boarded and trained with Lou. We have 2 american staffordshire terriers that were young puppies when we thought this was the best place for them to go for a 2 week board and train. Before the time period was over, Lou called and stated we needed to get them because our female was bleeding from her vagina. We’re not sure exactly what happened during the 10 days of boarding/training, but our female suddenly was extremely reactive and we have been trying to work through that ever since. She has now viciously attacked each family member in our household, causing severe physical harm, and we will now have to put down our once loving puppy. When she attacked me personally, she was hanging from my arm and death shaking as if she was trained to be a police dog. Both dogs are terrified of the broom or any long stick, while never having a negative encounter with such objects at home. Something shady happened during the time our dogs were under their care and I’m sure we’ll never know the truth, but the outcome has yielded lifelong negative impacts to our family’s physical and mental health.

My mom has been taking her new puppy Sheba to puppy kindergarten for about 4 weeks now. She is absolutely loving it! The training is positive and very effective. The trainers understand that sometimes 9 week old puppies have really good days and some really lazy days at class and adjust for both giving you the tools you need to continue your training at home. I would strongly recommended Good Citizen to anybody and and can't wait for Sheba to take higher level classes!

We love Good Citizen Dog! The obedience training helped us communicate with our dog so that he knows what is expected of him, and their day care wears him out! We love knowing that our bully breed is out playing for the day instead of being put in a kennel just because of his breed. He has a blast playing with the other dogs and he seems to consider Good Citizen his home away from home.

We attended puppy training here with my three month old puppy. There were way too many puppies in the class. My little guy experienced more noise and stimulus than she wanted. It made me uncomfortable for her. Seems like they're trying to make money over providing a stable environment.

Lou and his team are amazing! My dogs love it when I ask them if they want to go see Uncle Lou!! There is nowhere else that I would ever take them for daycare or blading!!! I know that they will be well take care of! Thanks Lou!!!!!!!

Bailey always has a great time and comes home exhausted after playing. Yesterday when I picked Bailey up, he was just getting out of the 'pool'. Lou and the team seem to genuinely enjoy taking care of the dogs.

Lou is knowledgable and has a heart for dogs. I will recommend him for anyone looking for a trainer, daycare, boarding, etc. I love that he supports the Boise Bully Breed Rescue too!

The training classes helped me train my dog then times faster than I would have been able to. The doggy day care also helped socialise my dog and make her more friendly with other dogs and people.
