Has anyone been able to successfully adopt a pet from here? The hoops to jump through only to be told the dog I was interested in isn’t available. But wait, there are other dogs you can have if you do these 42 things first.

After finding the dog of my dreams, I just wanted to meet him. I submitted an application like they’d requested, and even gave my property management a heads up that they’d be calling. Their communication is some of the worst I’ve had with a rescue. Now, the dog isn’t posted anymore after I did everything they’d asked for and when I had questions, they didn’t reply. Very poor business for a place that needs to be adopting out these pets. I’m an eager candidate with lots to offer a pup. Very disappointed in how this business conducted their work.

This rescue may be small, but their impact on the community is huge. While they primarily operate as a foster-based rescue, they also care for some animals at their main location. I’m so impressed by the incredible work they do!

*Sincerely impressed by this rescue. We adopted a new family member. He is amazing. The Rescue members communicated well with us and helped it go smoothly. They make sure the animals are healthy and that the new family has what the animal needs. They even give you a free training session! I will probably get all my rescues from Lake Lowell Rescue!

There are so many animals that need to be rescued and this agency does an amazing job at finding a loving home for these wonderful cats that need love. I filled out the application and in less than a week we were told they have 2 sisters that we had our eye on. We met our Sweetheart kitties at their foster home! It was a lot better to see them in a home rather than in a cage. It breaks my heart to see cats in there like that. These animals have a character and a personality. They are God's gift to us I feel. I've never felt such unconditional love before like I have with these beautiful wonderful cats! The agency was in constant contact throughout the whole process and were such wonderful people to meet. They asked me if I would send them pictures and in 2 days i was able to get some amazing pictures even though its only been 2 days and these cats are comfortable already! They are so sweet and loving. Purring and flopping to be petted. I am loving life! I am so happy that I get to enjoy them for the rest of their lives!

Put in a cat application, had to email to follow up several times, which fine. When they finally said they were sending the application to the “adoption committee” they posted on their Facebook page that the cat I applied for was adopted. I don’t have Facebook so I had to go look when I saw the cat was no longer on their website. I followed up with an email letting them know that I saw the cat was already adopted a week ago and nobody even replied to that. Really unprofessional.

I didn't go inside. I was delivering a food donation for the cats and kittens. All the cats, young and old looked very happy. They were sitting in open windows that were covered with heavy screens that were bolted to the window frames. They also had a sturdy catio that allowed the cats to go from window to window along the outside of the building and stay safe. It was nice to see happy healthy cats waiting for a forever home. I was extremely impressed that they really seemed to care and want.what was best for all the animals.
