Our evaluation day and first full daycare day went great! The staff has been so so nice to us and our baby girl. We have been kept updated, able to watch her play on cameras to check in, and book special treats for her. We booked a spa service as well and she smells and looks wonderful! She even gets report cards and had a first day photo.
It is so comforting to know that we are able to take our dog to be able to play and socialize in an environment where she is kept safe and happy. Thank you!

I was so excited to find this location as a possible safe place for my two dogs Luna and Sagan. They had great reviews and the pictures of the facilities looked so clean and they also offered video services as well. Seems like the perfect spot to keep my pups safe while I was on vacation or at work. Unfortunately this was not my experience. From day one, coming into the building the front desk reception area was absolutely frantic, loud and panicked. Something happened with their Internet to where their entire system was down. This is an understandable inconvenience, and I looked past it, though I should’ve taken that as a sign as to what the next several months of boarding or daycare would become. One of my dogs has severe separation anxiety, I address this in our initial meeting with them and asked if it was something they could accommodate. They assured me that he would be taken care of no problem. When he is extremely anxious, he salivates excessively. This, leaving his chest, soaking wet if he’s in a circumstance where he’s very uncomfortable. I advised them of this as well and every single time I would pick him up he would have excessive saliva all over his chest. When I asked about it, they stated that it was just because they were getting ready for him to come home and said that they had placed him in a crate until I picked him up. There were other times when I had made reservations and when I would come drop them off, I was met with an attitude saying that their reservation was not made. Then, of course, a few minutes later, they would find it yet still never apologizing for the snotty behavior in the first place. The misplacement of information would continue to happen over several months, they double charged us more than one occasion and only was corrected once we pointed it out and had to show receipts showing where we were charged over $900 twice. They did offer us a 10% discount during this occasion and when we tried to use the discount on the next visit, they said there was no record of it, and we had to jump through hoops to talk to the manager that had promised it to us in the first place.
Most recently, as an emergency, we had set up a reservation for them to be boarded there for a few days while we were out of the country. They notified us that some of their shot records were missing, which they had gotten their canine influenza updated since the last time they had stayed at Dogtopia. I provided my dog sitter with this vaccine information And he showed up to drop the dogs off and again was met with snotty behavior saying “they’re not being boarded here unless you have their vaccinations.” Before even a simple hello was given. He promptly showed them the vaccinations I provided and they still said that one of my dogs didn’t have a required vaccination. Upon further looking, this was an oversight on their part, and they had previously boarded our dogs without these vaccinations, and an employee simply didn’t do their job. All in all, the confusion of them not having their administrative side of things in order nor having the confidence that my dogs were treated well while in their care the final reasons why I will never set foot in this facility again. Don’t let the façade of seemingly well kept Facility fool you, make sure to do research and view the premises before deciding if this is right for your fur baby.

Our sweet Teddy had a blast. The owner and all the staff are focused on your pet’s safely and happiness. Very clean, and I was amazed at how well all the pups get along! I told my husband it reminded me of a Disney movie . We are thrilled to have found this wonderful facility.

I Recently Took My Dog, Boujie, To Dogtopia Of Thunderbolt, And The Experience Was Nothing Short Of Fantastic. This Is Boujie’s Second Spa And She Loves It. This Facility Combines Daycare Services With A Spa-Like Atmosphere, Making It A Perfect Retreat For Dogs.

Facility: The Moment You Enter, You’re Greeted By A Bright, Clean Space Filled With Cheerful Decor And Comfortable Resting Areas. The Play Zones Are Well Maintained, With Amole Room For Dogs To Romo Around Safely.

Staff: The Staff At Dogtopia Of Thunderbolt Is Exceptional. They Are Not Only Professional, But Also Genuinely Caring.

Overall Experience: Dogtopia Of Thunderbolt Has Become Boujie’s Second Home. She Returns Happy, Relaxed, And We’ll Groomed Every Time. I Wholeheartedly Recommend This Facility To Any Dog Owner Looking For A Place Where Their Furry Friend Can Olay, Relax, And Be Pampered. Boujie Is Already Looking Forward To Her Next Visit!

If i’m rating off of first impressions (which are very important) I was highly impressed. I took my dachshund Frank in for a Meet and Greet. I showed up 30 minutes early for my appointment accidentally but it was no issue they took me right away. They were very loving to my dog and answered all my questions. During Franks Temperament evaluation the owner herself gave me a tour and let me watch Frank interact with the other dogs. I was a little nervous because Frank is still a puppy and had never been in a group of dogs. She reassured me the whole time and made my visit comfortable and I can’t wait to take Frank to his first day of daycare tomorrow. I know Frank will be just as impressed as I was with Dogtopia.

Big Maggie and Lily seem to looooove the staff and other pups. Maggie is older and slept on the ride home. Our Lily got plenty of socialization and slept like a rock last night. They loved cuddles and all the attention.

How much the staff love on my dog when I bring her in and how you can tell that they really enjoy their jobs and spending time with the dogs. The cleanliness of the facility is also really great to see and shows that the employees take pride in the place they work and providing the best environment possible. This is the first place I have ever used dog daycare services at as I have been very untrusting of people with my babies but I feel comfortable leaving her there to play during the day.
