Our 3.5 year old son has been attending Dragon for the last few months and it’s been nothing short of incredible! Our son has developmental delays and is also very speech delayed, every single teacher that he has had has tried to accommodate to him as best as they can and have even gone the lengths of contacting his developmental preschool teacher to see what exercises they can continue supporting in his daycare class. Donna has also been so supportive and encouraging, genuinely invested in making sure our son is happy and content.

I have never experienced such a caring group of individuals and although my son has a limited vocabulary, it’s so evident that he loves going to DA. We are so happy we chose to switch our son to Dragon and are so grateful for the amazing team there!

Our son has been attending Dragon Academy for almost 1 year since he was 10 weeks old and I can’t say enough about how amazing the year has been! I work from home and did not plan on needing childcare for him when I was pregnant, but quickly found out that I was wrong when I went back to work. We had actually been accepted into a daycare nearby and paid the deposit there, but then we got a message that there was an opening for him at DA. After hearing so many good things, we immediately said yes to the opportunity and I’m so glad we did! I had so many doubts about sending him so young, but I needed it and all my worries washed away after week 1!

DA is more than just childcare, it’s a place where I know my son is learning and growing exponentially. He thrives around other children and has learned so much in short periods of time. He runs toward his teachers and class when I drop him off because he loves them so much. I also can’t say enough about how much they have helped ME grow and learn as a first time parent! I feel like I have a relationship with each of his teachers and they have helped me become a more confident parent and learn more about my son in ways that maybe I wouldn’t have if he weren’t here. I trust them 100% with him and I know he’s getting the best of the best care. We call it school because that is exactly what it is for him at just 1 year old!

We plan on keeping him here until he starts elementary school because we can’t imagine him being anywhere else. They are truly the best!

My two children had been in DA since they were little babies up until now, they are 2 and 3. Fern the owner kicked my 3 year old son out of daycare without a two week or one week notice. Received an email Friday morning notifying me that Friday would be his last day. I have a full time job that I have to attend to support my family, and now I have been forced to find care for my children with no advance notice. My son has never been a trouble child at all not at 1 or 2 years of age. Donna the director made a mistake and wasn’t checking the system properly and notified me a month ago that I owed a large amount of money from February-August. I did not agree with the amount of money that it was my responsibility to pay for Donna mistake. After having a conversation and letting DA know I was not going to pay for it fern decided to give me a discount on the amount “they say I owed”. After the money issue my son became a problem child that they could not handle. Every week it was something different and he was sent home for something. The notice of kicking my son out was very unprofessional of the owner and staff. The teachers were great with my children but on the opposite side the owner should do better with her professionalism. Families be very careful with DA!

My granddaughters started Dragon Academy a few months ago when my daughter started nursing school. It has been a constant joy to know they are looked after and taken care of. I am extremely happy and grateful for a place like this to watch over our loved ones. Donna,Kristen,Lindsey,Amber and Abby (not sure if I have spelled all the names correctly) know me, my granddaughters, their mom and my husband as we all help. A HUGE THANK YOU!! It is not easy and we know it.

My little brother went to this daycare. It was amazing, however there are some flaws in this daycare that make me very upset with the layout of this building.

My mother has to pay during weeks she does not receive childcare? Doesn’t that sound a bit stupid? Paying for a service you’re not using? It really doesn’t make any sense whatsoever and my mom or anyone else using this daycare should have to pay for an ENTIRE WEEK that they received NO CHILDCARE from. The employees also get payed so little but the customers have to pay so extra.

My brother has been involved with some fights in the classroom that wasn’t his fault. Now, the teachers and kids were nice, but all the teachers said after he got hit, pushed, scratched, kicked, or abused by another child was “Oh, they will go to time out and we’ll talk to their parents about this.” But guess what? They never did. They only put them in time out and expected it was to teach them anything. But no, it kept happening over and over and OVER. And they kept timing them out. They need better punishments that don’t involve hitting or sending them to a chair. Something in between like a lecture.

Other than those two main things, pick this daycare. It’s amazing and his experience was amazing there with amazing teachers and education.

Dragon Academy has been a wonderful experience for my daughter so far! The teachers (specifically Ms. Evangela, Ms. Veda, Ms. Dece, Ms. Jessy, Ms. Kim, and Ms. Jennifer) take great care of her and keep us well informed.

They track her activities & learning development (language, physical, cognitive, and social emotional) and we love to hear about how she's changing in the classroom. She gets social play time with other babies but also does not have to share a crib. They also post pictures of her throughout the day which always reassure us of her well-being. The facility is always clean and feels very safe.

It also seems like the staff are treated well. While I understand parents concerns about cost and days where the daycare is closed, we personally feel that we can adjust our schedules or pay a little more in order to create a better work environment for the staff (such as days off around the holidays to be with their families and a liveable wage). We believe that if the staff are well supported & happy, our children will be too.

Our daughter has been there since April 2024 and I will update my review if anything changes but so far we couldn't be happier with this facility. Thanks Dragon Academy & Ms. Donna for helping us feel comfortable leaving our little one with you!

Dragon Academy is by far the best daycare! My son has been in 4 different daycares due to moving and job changes and we never experienced the love and dedication to not only child care but child growth like we have at Dragon Academy. The staff is wonderful and the directors, assistant directors and owner were nothing short of amazing! We will continue coming to Dragon Academy for summer camps! I would recommend DA to anyone who wants their child to be well taken care of and most importantly to be loved!
