Everybody at Encompass Rehab seemed to work seamlessly with one another. They all seem to love what they do. They are very personable there. They were all very kind and caring when it came to caring for me. I'll be having another treatment for my condition and I'm told it's common to return to rehab. I will be requesting to return to Encompass if I have to go back to rehab. I felt very welcomed there. They make sure you get your therapy. I had to miss a day because of my condition and they made sure i made it up to ensure i was truly ready to be released. The therapist said it wouldn't be good to send me home partially treated only to return because I really wasn't ready. I agree 100%.

We needed a rehab facility for my 89yr old mother who just had a hip replacement. We had heard there was a new facility, Encompass. It was in a familiar area and easy to get to. I am an RN and wanted to stay with my mom to make sure she would be okay. After a couple of nights I was so comfortable with her recovery and the staff I was able to leave her there in their care and go home at night. We don’t live in Columbus so we hoped it would be a good fit. It turned out to be a great facility. The staff were kind to my mom and PT & OT staff were great. There were lots of supporting staff, too. The room was spacious and had a lovely big window where she could privately enjoy the view outside. This could help with Sundowners if your elder patient happens to have that. We found the parking was close and easy. There were many new stores and eateries near by for us. I would recommend Encompass Rehab and would use it again if it was ever necessary.

My husband did his rehab at Piedmont Encompass after his stroke. The place was state of the art and the doctors and staff were amazing. Everyone was so attentive and extremely caring. They made it a great experience at a not so great time in his life.

It is a great place to go for therapy. I was there for almost two weeks and they were all very nice and friendly and very attentive. They really worked with me about three hours a day. I would highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbus after I fractured my pelvis. The duration of my stay was 2 weeks. My physical therapist was Ethyl and my occupational therapist was Mary. They were amazing and my favorite staff! They were both very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. By the time I left, I was able to function with a walker and successfully navigate the 17 steps I have in my house. All of the staff was very nice. The nurses, nurse techs, and doctors checked on me constantly and responded promptly if I pushed the call button. The facility was very clean. I absolutely recommend Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbus for anyone who needs rehabilitation.

My friend stayed at Encompass Rehab in Columbus for 15 days. The facility was bright, cheery and spotless! The nurses and techs were upbeat, smiling, and friendly. Elizabeth, Case Manager, was so helpful in explaining the situation and making the move forward. Jeneen, Alexis, and Cathy, (PT, OT, ST) helped her progress amazingly! Her sense of taste was off, but nutrition was like a “short order cook” as they prepared whatever she would eat. Everyone sincerely cared for her and strived to help her make improvements in all areas! Encompass Rehab receives 100 stars from me!

My mom was recently inpatient hospital here after an acute admission for acute respiratory distress. When we arrived she was too shaky to get up and even get to the bathroom. By the time we discharged six days later she was able to move around with assistance of a Walker and was able to work out on the recumbent bike and do other physical therapy and occupational therapy exercises.
We were seen by the attending Dr.Savoie on her first day. He was very nice and I loved that when talking to my mom he got down at her level and talked to her and not at her.
The case manager Elizabeth kept us apprised of what was going on and was able to set up all follow ups needed after discharge.
All of the staff was very nice and accommodating.
The only Con I would mention is the food situation for visitors.
The cafe only serves lunch Monday-Friday. So if you are staying with a family member be prepared to need to leave to get food. This was a minor con and I am sure a product of the fact they would not get enough business to be open for hot food or grab and go three times a day and would also tax the staff who are fixing meals for the patients. It is just something to be aware of so you can plan. The set up in the food area is very nice however. There are cups and ice available at all times as well as free sodas from the fountain. There is also vending if needed.
I would definitely recommend this facility at this location if you or a family member have inpatient rehabilitation needs. I was very pleased with her progress and the care of the staff.

I've been to another rehab facility in Alabama I think 4 times in the last two years, and never got the service, professionalism, care and compassion, motivation, that I have received here in Columbus. It has been a joy to have been a part of the Columbus Encompass!

All of the therapy staff have been very professional so helpful so motivating. The entire team in therapy is immaculate. Everybody working together having and giving so much care and compassion it has been a total pleasure during my stay here at Encompass Columbus Georgia.
I came in not standing, walking, transferring. But they took the time and motivation and help me to succeed to be able to do all the above Hallelujah. All of the staff represent Encompass everyone seems to be on the same page same team, there's nothing like team work I've always been a team player myself. I know most people are so quick to complain about little things nitpick and try to find fault with someone. So I want to take the time to recognize and bring out some of the highlights of the key people that made my stay here at this wonderful place it's been from day one till today 9/6/24 my experience has been a total pleasure. I would recommend this establishment to anyone that wanted to go forward in their mobility. This place has been a miracle to me I'm doing things that The naysayers said I would never do such as get up on the side of the bed under my own power, stand up on a walker under my own power pivot around and sit down in my power chair under my own power. Pedal a bicycle Walking a few feet through the parallel bars Thank you Jesus and thank you Encompass Health, they have the best therapy team anywhere and all of their therapy staff are a class act as well, they are just a great bunch of miracles touching so many lives day after day. CEO Kendra, and the wound nurse Rachel, are just simply amazing going out of their way to be at miracle and someone else's life.May God richly bless this place and the entire staff here at Encompass Health Columbus. I wish I could remember everyone's name that's been a high tower in my life these last few weeks But I can't , just can't remember everyone's name they are so many, so let me just say everyone here has been a blessing to me in my journey. May God richly bless each and every one. It's in the wonderful of Jesus I pray, I'm so thankful Amen.
