I am so happy that I was referred to this place by my vet’s office. The grounds are super clean, the staff is welcoming and extremely friendly. It really puts my mind at ease as the place that I am comfortable leaving my Dallas for day or long term boarding. They do an assessment of each pet to make sure that they are in the best safe environment while they’re staying. If you are looking for a place for your pet to stay for a day or longer, I highly recommend you give them a visit.

We have been taking our dog/Shane to Smith Farms for boarding short and long term as well as daycare for over 5 years. The owner is amazing! The staff loves on Shane and takes care of him as if he were their own. We can vacation without stress because we know he is well taken care of with the highest level of quality! I boarded Tzar three times and all of my experiences were great! Tzar did not whine during the times he has been dropped off. I feel at ease leaving Tzar at Smith Farms. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Process to register was quick and easy. It was the first time boarding my dog at Smith Farms. The staff was welcoming which eased my nervousness about leaving him somewhere new. He seemed relaxed and happy at pick up. I will definitely be back when I need boarding for my fur-baby. (Angelo)

I fully expected to pick up my Lola and she'd be bloodshot, bug-eyed, and desperately dragging me to the car (she hasn't done well with boarding before). To my relief, though she was super excited to see me, she didn't seem stressed. She has slept heavily for the past 24 hours...a happy, worn-out pup.

I recently boarded my 3 chihuahuas there for over a week. They are 10-11 years old and had never been boarded before and I was worried. The staff were very excited to have the little ones and they sent me text updates throughout the week. The pups were happy to see us when we picked them up and showed no trauma after their stay. They were madder at me the last time I left them with their human siblings than this time at the kennel, lol. I plan to board my pups there again next spring when I have another trip. We have two beautiful dogs one rescue and the is other a breeder “runt”. the dogs were great until we were hanging out at a park and an off leash Rottweiler charged us. Our dogs reacted and in the chaos they turned on each other. They were never the same since and had been relegated to either being muzzled every moment they were together or constantly separated. Even our vet said there was no hope, so we set up a system of baby gates and muzzles so we wouldn’t have to choose between our puppies or worry about their safety.

When we moved to GA I looked up local trainers hoping we could find a way to at least get the dogs better trained. Smith Farms/Our House not only agreed to train our dogs they gave us hope that something better was possible. They spent time building a relationship with our dogs and learning what behaviors were causing the underlying problem.

After 3 weeks not only do we have well trained dogs but we are completely muzzle free! I can walk my dogs together side by side, I can ring the doorbell or pass strangers on the street. I can even put my dogs in a “ lay down“ position, drop the leashes and walk away from them!! Even better our trainer, Andy, didn’t just train our dogs he worked with us and gave us the tools to continue training our dogs and building our relationship with them. Thank you so much! our life and our dogs could never imagine having this lif lifestyle and freedom back!
