This scruffy terrier followed my husband home on a run back in 2020 and never left. We’ve always had big dogs that we required minimal grooming so I didn’t know where to begin with this one’s coat. I tried to take him to another groomer but he wasn’t comfortable. Allure did a phenomenal job taking care of our little man. They were so kind and patient with him. He truly looks like a brand new dog! You can see how happy he was went I brought him home. Photo is the “before” video is the “after”.

Be careful with your loved one and your wallet. Allure used to be ok, but not anymore. I took my 13 years old Schnauzer to cut his nails two months ago. He didn't have fleas for years, and I am sure he took them from Allure. Regardless, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and took him there again for complete grooming. He has been under treatment for fleas, and I thought he was doing better. They had him for 3 hours and NEVER told me about the fleas. I could have taken him to the veterinarian on my only day off from work.

After I called asking for my dog, she called me back only to tell me he should have a simple cut because he had some nuts (Before I took Coco there I spent hours making sure have nuts. If he had, they were insignificant). I was surprised, but I trusted again and said Ok. Then she added she cut his leg because he was moving. She mentioned that very lightly and even laughed about it. After my brief silence, she realized it wasn't funny. DOGS MOVED, BE PROFESSIONAL, OR AT LEAST EMPATHETIC!

When I got there, she charged me for the full Schnauzer cut (when she only shaved all his body except his face). She also decided to use a "flea shampoo" without consulting me and then charged me $15 for that!!! What a crazy experience. I paid $95 for them to cut my dog's leg, put a nonauthorized flea shampoo on him, and do a cheap shave.

I always love my experiences at this salon. Unlike some grooming facilities they do not overbook and so are not crowded, smelly, stressful, or loud. The grooming is always top notch (and I have high standards, no pun intended!). Staff is personable and friendly, willing to do whatever I request and also accommodate special requests (I have a nervous dog for example and was made to feel very comfortable about bringing her in for a meet and greet before setting up a groom). Lovely place and I will return whenever I want to get my sweet pups taken care of!!
