We’ve been using Gateway Animal Hospital for our pets healthcare needs since 1997! Always professional, respectful, and caring. Never felt pressured into making care decisions and treatment options were always explained in detail. Dr Burgard has been our vet for a number of yrs and brings a wealth of experience with him. We always feel comfortable with his diagnosis and advice. And Michelle is the real deal folks! She goes above and beyond to insure your pet receives the best possible care. Always available to answer questions and explain procedures and after care instructions. She is an extremely valuable asset to any vet she’s assisting. Great doctors, great nurses, great staff! (Everyone at the desk is so nice, my dog doesn’t even mind getting a nail trim!) What more could you ask for!

My dude had his ACL repaired here over two years ago at a price that was significantly cheaper than my “normal vet” after shopping around to see what options were available for repair/surgical. Since then, I have moved all of his health and upkeep here, and have never felt like he wasn’t in the best care possible. I can’t say enough good things, the surgery went smooth, all follow-ups were amazing and he hasn’t had a single issue with the leg since. These people are top tier and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them going further.

Our little baby girl cat just got fixed by Dr. McLemore and his team! We can’t thank you enough. She is already on the mend! Back to her old self just three days later and her stitches are so clean! They automatically prescribed her antibiotics because cats tend to get infections given the use of the litter box after such surgeries, so we didn’t even have to worry about it! Very responsible, very demure ✨

I have never been to a better veterinary office. ever ! people are always very cordial. an informative. Michelle is amazing.. she is very experienced very compassionate with the animals. She is a heart and soul of GATEWAY ANIMAL hospital.. I would recommend anyone to this veterinary hospital.

My animals have never been so comfortable and happy to visit the vet. Dr. Darian was incredibly gentle, kind, and patient. I could tell that he truly cared. It was the first time we didn’t need to use the cat cage!! The appointment itself was also very affordable. We will definitely be back to get our kitten fixed soon ?

There is a difference and this place is it! Such incredible compassion, my only regret is they only work on animals. The entire office is top notch and well done. Dr. Lutz was very kind to an animal that does not like vets at all. My pet had a tremendously positive experience and is physically showing signs of improvement just hours after her visit. God bless these kind knowledgeable caretakers in all they do.

I highly recommend this establishment. It has been the place I call and run to anytime my cat has an issue. They are all super friendly and care for all animals. I know that it's so hard for a pet parent to trust a new place, but this one won't disappoint you. My favorite people there are Hannah and Cori. They have been there for a long time, and I really trust them to take care of my Salem.

Gianna is such a wonderful vet tech! My dog Callie is always happy to see her and not scared during her visits. Dr. Mclemore was very helpful and provided me with all the information I needed when I brought my dog in for a large growth removal in her mouth. They were able to remove the growth using a laser which was minimally invasive. Callie healed quickly and seemed to be in no pain. Thank you to Gianna, Dr. Mclemore and the whole team at Gateway☺️
