The best groomer I’ve ever had for my English cocker spaniels. Matt practically turns them into show dogs each time he grooms them—they look amazing and get complimented everywhere they go. It’s so obvious that Matt cares deeply about dogs and the work that he does. Highly recommend.

Matt and Karyn are the absolute best! They go above and beyond in every way. We have been taking our dogs here every two weeks for 10+ years and would not go anywhere else. They are like family now! We have taken various sizes, ages, and breeds to Pet Groomers of Sarasota: from puppies to seniors, Havanese to Hounds and Pit mixes. They've always done a fantastic job and truly love their clients. Our dogs get excited to go and leave very happy and relaxed. They leave with cute bandanas and huge smiles on their faces. The prices are very reasonable and they go the extra mile with holiday gifts and phone calls to check in on our dogs.

Matt's life is dedicated to dogs and it shows. He is incredibly skilled at grooming, while having a deep knowledge of breeds, behavior, and health. He is engaging, friendly, and caring. We trust him completely with our dogs.

I am shocked by the negative reviews that were left. They almost made me laugh because they are so opposite of the experience at Pet Groomers of Sarasota. We certainly would not be loyal customers for 10+ years if this was the case. These bizarre reviews do not ring true for the hardworking and passionate business owners we know Matt and Karyn to be.

We take all four of our dogs for various services, two of them needing full trims and grooming every six - eight weeks. Three of ours are seniors. The owners are very patient with them, knowing they need extra care and a soft touch. After visiting several other groomers with our seniors, I highly recommend them.

Our Family can not say enough great things about Matt. He was our Dog Oreo’s groomer from the time he was two until he was thirteen. Oreo always looked so handsome after Matt Groomed him. We always felt so comfortable dropping Oreo off and Oreo always came back happy. We would like to express our gratitude to Matt for all the years he took care of Oreo, we know Oreo appreciated it until the very end too. We could not think of a better Dog Groomer. Was referred to Matt by my groomer in Georgia as a place for our Cairn Terrier. Extremely knowledgeable and kind reassuring demeanor to our pup. It's a long drive up from our home, but worth the trip for the quality of work and their kind professionalism with our pup. For a small grooming shop to have such high praise out of state, it had to checked out, and they lived up to all!

Matt came highly recommended by a local breeder so I took my Portuguese Water Dog puppy there after another groomer did a terrible job on her. Matt understands the breed and the quirks of a puppy. He did a remarkable job on her and she looked fantastic. He always calls the night prior to the appointment as a reminder. So glad he took us on as a client, especially after the first experience I had at another groomer.

Very unprofessional. I have been a loyal customer for years, I said I preferred my 2 dogs not be shaved down and to shave the other one and I left it in his hands to decide; when he asked what I wanted to do this appointment. He called me 2.5 hours later and said my puppy kept peeing on his table, my older dog couldn’t handle the grooming and he could make more money on new clients. He obviously lost his temper with my dogs because my puppy must have been quite scared to keep peeing. He said it was too aggravating and to come pick up my dogs and didn’t groom them So he basically wanted to get rid of me as a customer because he had no patience and said he charges all of his new clients $100 and was losing money taking care of my dogs. I have been a customer over 12 years. He has a temper and no patience and should retire. Good to know my dog was peeing because obviously he was very scared of Matt for a reason!
If I could give zero stars I would !
