Regarding my experience attempting to adopt Milo & Alfie:

I am saddened to share my recent experience with the adoption process at your center. Initially, I expressed interest in adopting Milo but was informed that he needed to be adopted with another kitten. When Alfie became available as part of a bonded pair with Milo, I promptly submitted an application for both.

Unfortunately, despite fulfilling this requirement, my application was denied. The lack of clear communication throughout this process has been disheartening. Despite your center's frequent social media posts urging adoption, my sincere efforts to provide a loving home to Milo and Alfie seemed overlooked.

As someone deeply committed to animal welfare, I expected a more transparent and efficient process. While I understand the importance of ensuring the animals' well-being, the inconsistency in adoption criteria and the rejection of my application despite meeting requirements have left me disillusioned.

I kindly urge a review of your adoption procedures to align with your mission of finding loving homes for animals. Clear and consistent communication with prospective adopters would greatly enhance the adoption experience.

Thank you for considering my feedback. I hope these concerns can be addressed for others looking to adopt from your center.

Adopting my cat was so easy with them! I love how thorough they are when screening potential fur baby parents so that way they know that the animals are going to a sweet and loving home. I also love how communicable every is and how easy it was to get answers and replies from them. I will forever love my cat and will recommend anyone to adopt and don't shop! (especially with them!)

Shame on you guys for charging money for certain dogs.. if you were really trying to save them you would just adopt them out to loving families

Process to get our fur babies was straight forward. They seemed to do a decent job getting us before allowing us to adopt. The cats were all in a good temporary home before we adopted them.

I have worked with AnimalLuvr’s rescue for a long time; with foster animals and adopted my cats from them. Everything worked out flawlessly - I appreciate their application process and the thoroughness of it, their care for animals and their honesty. I have worked with other rescues and see many animals returned and sad stories because they just want animals to go to families without checking that the families have longterm commitment. ALDR make sure that people realize it takes effort!

I have personally fostered with ALDR and foster failed. They are the best around. If I needed anything for my fosters they are willing to step in. They respond quickly and with an open mind for the the best of all their animals. They truly care so much about all animals and do their best to help every animal they can. I live further away than all of their vets but I’m willing to take that drive to help them with their mission!
