Love My Dog is truly the best! After Hurricane Helene left us homeless, they welcomed our boy Ozzie for his first boarding experience. They provided a safe, fun, and loving environment that made him so happy. We are so grateful knowing he was well cared for while we faced other challenges. The entire team went above and beyond for us. Ozzie had a blast playing with the other dogs and enjoying the water park, more water park and more water park! I highly recommend Love My Dog!

10/10 recommend letting your fur baby stay here! I was at such peace leaving Tails here. Angela is absolutely amazing. If you’re going out of town or just want your pup to play and socialize this is the place to come! Best prices in town ?

This place is really bad news. Do not trust these people with your dog. I picked up my black lab Winston from boarding after 2 nights. Right after I got home I found this very awful wound that they never even told me about. Just called them to find out what happened and they could not provide any explanation whatsoever. Was my dog attacked? Why was I never informed? Who will be paying my vet bills? I would never recommend this place to anyone and will never be using it again. After going to the vet I was given an estimate of over $900 to get his wound drained and stitched up. Still have not heard back from the manager regarding a resolution. Update 5/16: stitches came out today. Still waiting on reimbursement for my vet bills…

This was my go-to spot for my dog.
The staff and location were fantastic.
One day, I went to pick up my pooch and was told that because he was an Intact Male, we were no longer welcome at the location.
The explanation was that some other dog at a different facility had bitten a staff member.

So since that dog was intact and mean then all males who are intact are dangerous. By their logic.

I was told originally because my dog was proven to be a Good Boy with literally ZERO aggressive traits, they he was grandfathered in.

Now we have no place to put gim up when needed thanks to the ignorance of some people.

To put the cherry on top, they did not refund the remaining balance I had prepaid for my dog to stay.

This place went from 5 stars to 0 in my book. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Find another location away from here.
You'll be better off.

Angela, the Manager at this location, offers 5-star customer service and truly cares about you and your dogs. If you are considering Love My Dog for boarding, daycare, etc., I recommend this 54th Ave location!

What a great place to bring you dog to cool off and have fun! $10 for 30 mins. If you bring your dogs shot records, they will bring out friends to play with for no extra charge! We were had so much fun, I will be going here again soon.

My dog, Romy, loved it here. The staff and facilities were top-notch. Romy did daycare for the week and one overnight stay. We will return if we are in St Pete again.
