It pains me to write this review but feel compelled to share a recent experience. The owner and the shop are delightful. I’ve come here for treats and goodies many time. I took my dog to be groomed and the outcome was disappointing. My dog is 11 years old and has had a lot of haircuts. Unfortunately, this visit may have been one of the worst. His haircut is uneven, there is still some goopies around the eye and the butt wasn’t completely clean. He wasn’t matted and somehow his lip was cut with the trim around the face. His lip is swollen and missing a portion of hair leaving some skin exposed.

I will continue to support for goodies but wouldn’t come back for a groom.

I've been bringing my Pomsky, Cornelius, to this Downtown West Palm Beach store since I moved to the area last year, and I can't praise it enough. The grooming, product choices, and professionalism are all outstanding—everything is a perfect 10/10. My dog absolutely LOVES coming here.

After trying various harnesses from Amazon and Wild One, the Italian leather one I purchased here surpasses them in both quality and aesthetics.

Cornelius used to shed excessively (I had to vacuum twice a day), but their deshedding treatment worked wonders. If you're considering taking your dog here, don't hesitate—just do it! Thank me later. ?

Beautiful boutique like experience, I went to use the self serve tub, very clean and pleasant fragrance through the shop, efficient in-line shampoo dispenser within the water hose. Powerful and very quiet dryers, and nicely priced. Centrally located downtown and the owner is as pleasant as they come.
Open on the weekend, very convenient. This is my new go-to dog bathing place!

Do Not, I repeat, Do NOT take your fur baby here for grooming. The shop is lovely and full of nice items and snacks, and upon first impression the owner is lovely. This is where it stops. As long as you pay her, she is happy and nice. However, when her groomers make a mistake, she does not take responsibility. Over a year ago I had my toy poodle in and the groomer at this location cut his ear! My toy poodle is 9 and is calm, non-barking, not nervous. He is loved by all and every groomer has said how good he is. There was no way that he was the cause of the cut. It was the groomer being in a hurry and not paying attention. The owner and I sat on the floor and tended to his bloody ear. I let this go as a one off, a mistake, and said I’d give them another chance. I paid for that grooming (who would charge you after they injured your dog) and didnt leave a review. I have since become a permanent resident (I was only here in the winters) and brought all three of my poodles in for grooming. She is closed Mondays but her other location was open. The man she has working there is not very bright. He had two Medium poodles and my toy poodle for full grooms. He called in 2 hours and was complemented? Impossible-Upon arrival he was sitting in a chair on his phone. He did not have the bill ready. I just arrived from a weeks trip and had construction going on at the house so was in a hurry-so I didn’t notice the issues with the dogs until I got home. However, it took 35 min before I could leave because he did not know how to use his square terminal. I, as a customer, had to teach him how to ring up a sale-I ended up creating my own invoice and charging my card as he was lost and confused. I had someone with me who had the dogs outside to potty then to wait in the car. Once home I realized all the errors. My toy poodle was shaved in between and around his eyes-ODD-he looks like his eyes are sunk in-looks like a raccoon. His butt was shaved to the skin-horribly-both medium poodles were not brushed properly and had knots-This is a full groom-cut, wash, brush. Now we see how he was done so quickly. Both female medium poodles are suffering-they cant quit licking and biting as he SHAVED their areas-so short-he gave them razor burn, stubble, and a couple scratches. I had to make a vet visit as they are suffering. They cant go for a walk without stopping multiple times to scoot or lick themself as they are itching and suffering. The areas look horrible and are hurting them. I hate to see my dogs suffering. I have to put antibiotic ointment on them and get them cones to wear-While explaining this to the owner her only reply was “OK, he cut the areas too short”. She offered to review them, but what will that do? You cant fix over shaved area and scratches. I requested a refund for the services and she declined. She’s then got nasty. I guess she really needs the money (over shared pricing for grooming too) to pay her rent and bills-because this is a something anyone with morals and integrity would immediately apologize for and not charge/refund. Its obvious she needs the money and only cares about money-she does not care about your pets and their well being. I would never use her again. BEWARE!
Please dont take my word-read the multiple reviews below mine with 1-2 stars that all mention how the groomer has nicked their dogs-and how the owner does not care-This is a constant problem for her and rather then address the issue and fire the groomers she allows them to continue on and harm multiple dogs. Someone should look into this matter legally as she is well aware of this constant situation and does nothing about it.

My dog Bentley is so precious to my wife and I and I would not go anywhere else for his grooming. D is for Dog is the best around. They made sure he was comfortable, well groomed, and happy. They even let me come back to say hello and show him I was there, it was such a great experience and he also loved it! You can see his before and after in the photos attached. Highly recommend D is for Dog for all your dog, puppy, or senior dog needs. Thank You Denise!

Cute little pet grooming and accessories shop exactly what all of us downtown humans needed for our big and little doggos. Super convenient, easy to schedule, customer experience is amazing - topped with the occasional mimosa for the humans. Hands down a quality experience. The DIY dog wash is such a great and practical idea for all of us condo dwellers.

The owner is very nice and helpful. However, the last time I took my baby I received a call the groomer "nicked" her back leg. It was cut not "nicked" and my girl was limping from the cut and it did swell and got infected. I was very upset.

I should have left this review a long time ago but it took me a few months to realize what they done to my baby.
My girl was only about 8-9 months old and had been to groomers previously of course and we never had these problems until after her appointment here.

when I came to pick her up they had me come to the back where the lady was grooming her and my baby was shaking like a LEAF I've never seen her this afraid of somebody. the groomer wanted me to hold her still so she can cut the hair around her face and I just was not having it after seeing how badly she was shaking so I just said its okay “she isn't going to let us” and whatever. So that was my first red flag. And then a couple of months later I realize she is not letting me touch her hands or even attempt to clip her nails. ( mind you she never cared before this ) and I just knew they must've cut way too much and hit nerves in her paws and now she's been traumatized ever since then. My girl was a customer here around early months of 2021. I know I should have said something sooner to warn other people but I've just left it alone for too long. I literally have so much anxiety now when I drop my girl off to get groomed especially because it’s to a point where she does get aggressive with me when I try doing her nails my self. I now have to take her regularly to a vet for anxiety meds or to put to to sleep so they can do her nails. Which is ridiculous. If only the groomer that day was trained properly. Even I know not to cut too far and I know barley anything about grooming animals. ( I’m not looking for a reply from the owner or anything. just telling people to look out for this ) it’s terrible having to see her get so afraid of a pair of nail clippers..
