Dr Kathy may be a good vet. BUT. She performs spays/neuters for Second Hand Rescue of Hardy. I adopted a rescue that was brought to her. Unbeknownst to me, the rescue had her for over 6 months and did not take care of her. When she was brought in, she was filthy and covered in mats. She had feces matted in her hair. Instead of shaving off the matted feces to prevent infection while being operated on, Dr. Kathy let her leave in this condition. I feel the vet should have also asked about her history. This dog was not given any shots or Bordetella until she came in to be spayed. Maybe I should have been contacted with the condition of this dog and I would have paid to have it done since the rescue did not.
Also just noticed on my Rabies Vaccine Certificate that she injected my dog on January 17, 2024 with an outdated rabies serum. The viral expired in 2016.

Dr Mills and staff are just simply amazing. So glad they are back in business. One of cats was near dead when we found him under a bed. Raced him in next morning (because yes, you can walk in) they took my baby boy cat right back gave her the info. Straightaway Dr mills recognized he was Jaundiced and did blood work as she suspected Bobcat fever. Sure enough after blood work we learned in fact he had Bobcat fever!! Gave him a first dose of antimalaria drug and antibiotic. 6 days later he lived past his first life. Then after he well I looked up Bobcat fever. It comes from a tick that fell off a Bobcat and was infected. This cat had only been out a handful of times.watch your indoor kittens and cats folk. She said this is going around in cats in our area. Like parvo is to puppies. The icing on the cake is the Vets office invited us back for a free follow up to check his blood! Thank you dr mills and staff. yall are simply amazing. (Oh yeah we checked out at under 180, this never happens at the vet.)

First time visiting this vet,my bulldog had a bad ear infection, the entire staff was super great with my baby girl, and I was explained everything in detail,also the price was better than expected, it's walk in visits only however my wait was much shorter than at my three other vets,I will definitelybe back when one of my pups need a vet or other supplies vet's handle such as shots or tick dope what ever they need if possible this vet will be my choice, thanks again guys she's doing much better already

Dr. Kathy Mills is one of the best in the business!! This place is underrated!! I will NEVER take my babies to anyone BUT her!
The staff is UNBELIEVABLY compassionate, and are very apt.
NEVER a problem, and have been going to them for over TEN years.

Great veterinary care from great folks. When noting the SINGLE STAR review from S. Speir, please consider the following: Dr. Bob Mills suffered a massive heart attack around the time of that posting. When the suggestion was given to find someone who was "open" that was an honest response. Surely, reasonable people would expect that during a crisis of that magnitude the clinic would not be open. If only people posting reviews realized the potential good or bad that can be done by doing so ... perhaps they would do more research prior to doing so. I absolutely trust these fine people and GLADLY recommend them to everyone!
